Hello,
I'm taking the LSAT again after a break from studying. How can I delete where it shows how many times I've taken a prep test or problem set?
Hello,
I'm taking the LSAT again after a break from studying. How can I delete where it shows how many times I've taken a prep test or problem set?
Hello all,
I'm taking the LSAT in January and am worried that I'm burnt out already. I've studied really hard since late August, 35-40 hours a week. Last week and the week before, I took 5-6 prep tests and got my score goals (164 +) on all of them. This week, after two days off, I've attempted to start studying again but I feel burnt out. Given that I'm still two months out, should I focus more on individual sections or attempt to take full length tests? Today, I got 60 percent through a prep-test but literally had no motivation to finish.
What do you guys think? Do you have any good solutions for burnout?
hello everyone,
in a past life, I took the GRE because I was convinced I wanted to get a PhD in Political Science. After many professors telling me not to do this and instead go JD-MPP, I've been on the law school path. Today, I got an email from Georgetown's Admissions Director "I invite you to apply for Fall 2021 admission with your GRE score. Although this invitation does not waive your application fee or guarantee admission, we feel that your academic talent and background would make a positive contribution to the intellectual community at the Law Center."
What does this mean? Don't want to get my hopes up. My LSAT score has been consistently around 166 on practice tests, so I thought G'Town would be a reach.
I'm trying to decide whether I should register for this administration of the test or wait another cycle (I don't want to lol). When is the latest day I could register?
I'm taking in January!
@sierramiral722 I think you're definitely onto something. I just start to tense up mid-logic game and worry about not getting into law school, making it really hard to focus. I'll try to take your advice.
@emaanc9932 I'm still finishing up the logic games portion of the curriculum, I'll definitely use that strategy with the prep tests once I get to them. Do you recommend doing the same game over and over again or rotating a couple of games at a time until I have them down? When JY says to do games over and over again, I can't help but think that memory, instead of the ability to make inferences, would take over.
Hi everyone,
I'm not a super angry person, but something about the LSAT brings out frustration in me. I'm three weeks into studying and I'm having a hard time maintaining focus while studying, especially during the logic games. I just get so frustrated because I feel like I'm not making progress because I'm not acing sequencing games after having already moved onto grouping games (not going well). This frustration sometimes makes me miss inferences and get more frustrated. Any tips to increase discipline/decrease frustration?
Hello everyone,
In college courses, I had a 3.95 GPA (higher if you count courses taken at other universities over the summer). Unfortunately, during my senior year of high school, I found myself very depressed. Due to this, I didn't try as hard as I should've (I couldn't) and got bad grades in college in the high school courses. Thus my LSAC GPA is only a 3.85. Will admissions have encountered this situation before and simply weight the college courses more?
I'm having trouble with this too. I finished the core curriculum games and have been spending 2.5 hours a day doing games over and over from PT 1-35 while marking them on a spreadsheet. Often I will perfect a game after many tries only to miserably fail at it 1 week later. Kind of at a loss.
