As someone who works at a Big Law firm right now, I can tell you that some of the best and smartest attorneys I've ever worked with did not graduate from T14 schools. In fact, some of my favorite lawyers graduated from law schools I had never heard of until I found out these schools through them. And yet, their names on are the pleadings of the some really cool cases, and for these big clients. And they're absolutely ruling at what they do.

So, in short, I think going to a T14 does give you that added "prestige" boost; however, in terms of success in the legal field, I can tell you that a T14 isn't the only way to go.

Hi! In terms of prep materials, I would go through what you have now, and see what works for you in terms of helping you understand the material. I say this because each of those materials you listed, while covering the same exam, will teach them in different ways; depending on how you learn and what works best for you, that should be the material you ought to use.

For example, I purchased one of the PowerScore Bibles when I first started prepping, and while it was helpful, it wasn't until I used 7Sage and saw the way they taught the LSAT that I really started to understand and do better on questions. In another example, while I think the Loophole is a great resource, there will be some folks on this site who see it less as a base for building their knowledge, and more as a supplement to the 7Sage CC.

All in all, start with what you have now and see if it works for you - if you see that you're not improving, then try to use something else that will help you grasp the material.

"The only" is a sufficient condition indicator, like "all," "any," "every," etc. When I see "not the only," I translate it to: "not all." "Not all" is just the negation of an all statement.

"Not all" translates to, "some...not."

"The tornados in the area are not the only natural disasters happening in the country."

So, "Some natural disasters happening in the country (DHC) are not the tornadoes in the area (TA)."

DHC (- s -) /TA

Confirm action

Are you sure?
