Transcripts

Hi, I am trying to figure out two questions.

I was at a 4-year university back in 2012 but I only attended for one semester. Am I supposed to submit that transcript to the LSAC as well? I was on the website and it said "please wait until you have completed at least six semesters of undergraduate work before requesting transcripts" but I ended up leaving and starting another school (Tech) 2015 before transferring to the university I'm at now.

Does my technical college transcript need to be sent to LSAC as well? I wasn't sure if that counted as a community college.

GPA Confusion

Hello, I'm seeing posts on here stating that GPA's like a 3.5, 3.7, 3.67, etc. aren't high enough for law schools to be impressed and I'm genuinely shocked by that and confused as to why. There's no way that everyone in law school got out of undergrad with a 4.0 so how are GPA's in the higher 3's not considered good? It's a little intimidating and disheartening finding out you can try your best in undergrad but if you don't make it out with that 4.0 your chances of admittance are reduced. I thought the 3's would at least be somewhat of a happy medium.

Drawing a Blank

Hi,

I am due to take the July LSAT and I'm beginning to get so discouraged. Unable to afford the traditional study websites, I've chosen to self-study (like I'm sure many of you have) using 7Sage, Kahn, and books. The problem is, I'm terrible at this. I've never been a good test taker but the LSAT is in its own league of how terrible I am. My diagnostic was 140, my next test tonight was 139. I was hoping to at least get 168 when it's time to take the actual test but Idk how if my score is going down even though I study everyday. Idk what to do to get my score up besides keep studying but I feel like I'm doing it wrong. Any advice?

Score Decrease

I'm really beginning to feel defeated. I started off with a diagnostic of 140 and have been practicing only my scores has dropped to a 139 and then to a 138 as of my latest prep test tonight. I'm seriously just considering taking the GRE which will lower my options of schools to choose from and take all of my top choices out of the running. I just cannot seem to conquer the LSAT and I hate that this test is the most important part of the law school application process! I can do the actual work but when it comes to tests, I struggle big time.
