Someone in this section asked this earlier, but I might as well ask it again:
It seems to me that J.Y. didn't address something. Considering how answer choice A is wrong because it talks about "insect species" (not pest species specifically), couldn't the same be said about answer choice D? It says the insects (regardless of whether they're pest species) develop resistance against B.T. Considering the previous sentences, can someone elaborate why D would weaken the argument?

I am not understanding the passage correctly. Just a couple of questions. I'd appreciate it if anyone answers!
1. Even though I did not choose AC A, why is it that we want a shorter circulation (which would make it less difficult for law officials to catch the counterfeiter)? In the eyes of the counterfeiter, doesn't he want to make it more difficult for the law officials to catch him?
2. Is the passage saying that if you have more special ink counterfeit currency, it means that it'll make it more likely that the other form (microprinting) would be discovered by officials?
