Hello fellow 7sagers.
I’m wondering how much of a factor an applicants work experience can be. I have been a firefighter and paramedic for the last four years. Will that be considered a plus? Or is work experience not weighed very heavily?
Thanks

I got this wrong. I was between answer choices A and D. I’m confused in JY’s explaination why D is correct though. Answer D requires you to make the assumption that the reduction in one’s resistance to certain common infectious diseases is more determential to overall health than lower risk of heart disease. But than in explaining why answer choice A is not correct JY states that you can’t make the assumption that the difference in supplements and food is is negative.
I’m just confused on when assumptions are allowed to be made in answer choices. Why is the assumption made in answer choice D correct, but the reason A is incorrect is because you made an assumption?

Hi everyone. Like everyone I'm sure, I miss a lot more questions when I'm trying to focus on speed. Often when I slow down, or during the blind review, I can get a lot more questions correct that I previously didn't know or answered incorrectly. So I'm looking for advice on how everyone else is improving their speed while retaining accuracy.
One thing I've thought about is when I find the correct answer moving on immediately without reading the remaining. I haven't started doing it though because it seems counter-intuitive to everything I've ever learned about test taking.
Thanks!
Oh okay. I came across the question doing the problem sets so I didn't also have question 5. That makes sense. Thanks.
Hi everyone, question on how to approach this question. The question gives two arguments, Jane's and Maurice's. The question stem states, "Which one of the following, if true, most strengthens Jane's argument?" So after reading this question stem we know it's about Jane's argument, and her argument is the first one. So my question, is it even necessary to read Maurice's argument?
Time is my biggest issue so being able to cut out that information and time spent on reading it could help.
What's everyone's thoughts? Thanks.

I selected A originally. I believe I read it as "prevention of iatrogenic disease will have an effect on the occurrence of non-iatrogenic diseases." So I essentially interpreted it as, "If you prevent the occurrence of iatrogenic disease that result in death, than the occurrence of non-iatrogenic diseases resulting in death will increase."
While that seems to make sense to me I now realize that I was also assuming the effects would be negative. I got this wrong on so many different levels facepalm
