Hi all!

I have been revising my personal statement for a month by now and I think it is good to go. I went to the writing center at my school and while it helped a little, I would really appreciate if I could get objective opinions from two or three people. I want to start sending out applications this week or next week so this is the last piece of the puzzle! I can email it to anyone who is willing and able.

Thanks :)

Hi chrijani7, thanks for the feedback. I feel so adamant about doing another one because I am afraid of the pressure to not see a 153 on test day will mess me up on the test day. Like, if I take another PT today or tomorrow its not really to try and improve, its mostly to get the 153 out of my head. If I dont re test, I am just afraid that I will go into the test day with a bad mindset and feel the pressure even more since my latest score will be such a low one. Then again, the pressure is probably getting to me at this point and it had to have been at least somewhat of a reason for that low score.

Thanks for the feedback guys! madeleine, I think im gonna side with you here. I will take another one tonight or tomorrow just to get the "153" out of my head. Ill probably just shake it off and take the LSAT this Saturday.

They say that because to admission councils it can look like you didnt prepare enough the first time. The lsat is something that we can prepare for months in advance so when you take it twice it can be seen as we didn't prepare enough or take it seriously enough the first time. I myself am taking it twice. I already took it in June, got a 155 & wasnt happy with it. Signed up for September and have been getting in the low 160s with my highest a 164. I just took a preptest & got a 153 which is freaking me out. Thinking of withdrawing and signing up for December, but I dont know yet. So stressful. So its best to take it once, BUT most schools consider your highest score, not an average. Check with each school you want to apply to though. Well best of luck!

Super low score 2 days before LSAT??

Hi all, I took the June LSAT & got 155. I knew I hadn't prepared enough so I signed up fro September and have been studying A LOT. My scores have been consistently 160, 161 and the day before yesterday I scored 164. I took a prep test this morning and scored 153! I'm wondering if I should take another one today or tomorrow, or just let my brain rest. My friends are telling me I am burnt out and need to relax, but going into the real LSAT with my last practice test being a 153 is super scary. What do you guys think? Have any of you had this happen and then bounce back on LSAT day?

Thanks all advice is appreciated :)

I have had the same thing happen to me. It is actually quite helpful on test day!! When you are under the most pressure and feel as if you are not doing well, you can think back to the times you took PTs and felt similar but ended up scoring well. Thats what happened to me, I learned to trust my instincts and that I was probably doing well despite that feeling.

Major GPA on Resume?

Hi all! My major GPA looks better then my over all GPA, so I was wondering if I could list only my major GPA on my resume for applications? I dont have either GPA on my resume right now because I have read that if your GPA is below the school median to NOT include it on the resume at all. But what about the schools that your major GPA falls in their range? Basically, when/if at all should I include my major GPA on my resume for the applications?

Id appreciate your thoughts and comments on this

Thanks!!
