#Help - what CC lesson is about denying a conditional statement?
Even though (B) looks like it is making the two groups (A and B) more similar, it actually isn’t making a difference. Because we do not know when groups A and B started in the first place, they could have also started at different times prior to the study. For example,
Previous Month:
A: 8:00 AM, produces 10 units
B: 11:00 AM, produces 20 units
Month of Study:
A: 8:00 AM, nutritious breakfast, 50 units (+40)
B: 11:00 AM, no nutritious breakfast, 20 units (+0)
Hope this helps!
#Help - Has anyone come across another question like this, regarding beliefs + false beliefs? Thanks in advance!
#Help - to confirm, it's just a coincidence that A is used to represent Beauty = Truth and A is used to represent Beauty?
To clarify the example, is this a correct interpretation of the problem?
A: Beauty
B: Best
C: Most Real
D: Most Truthful
E: A = D
F: C = B
A = D --> C = B
Assumption in answer: A = B
It is true that all of the materials must be used at least once. Here's why you need N, hopefully this helps:
[3 Materials Needed] Center 1: (N) (T/W) (P) [ Must have 3 materials b/c you need P here - if it’s in C2 it needs to be in C1; and, P can only be used once. Cannot include G b/c you have P; if you have W, you need N. So W T cannot be a pair.]
[2 Materials Needed] Center 2: (N) (T/W) [N must be one of them for the reasons explained above - and you need T/W to fill the min of 2]
[2 or 3 Materials Needed] Center 3: (NW, NT, or T) and G [must include G, whichever material is not placed in Centers 1 and 2 above must be placed in Center 3. If that is W then you will need N; if that's T then N is optional]
