Hi,

I am looking for a few people to study with for the April/June 2024 LSATs. I am trying to get to a level where I am consistently scoring in the 170s/can break 175+ so am ideally looking for a few people around the same level to prep for future LSATs. I recently took the January LSAT so I'm making this post in anticipation of needing to study for a re-take(s).

👥 Study Group Location: Virtual (Zoom or Google Meets)

🔢 I'm currently scoring: High 160s - Low 170s

📆 My planned test date: April/June 2024

🔍 We'll focus on: anything and everything to get the 175+

📚 When we'll meet and what we'll do: maybe super in-depth review? I've sort of hit a plateau and am looking for people around the same level to bounce ideas/new approaches off of in order to break 175+. Previously did a one-on-one with another test taker and we just took sections/tests and reviewed questions during our weekly sessions.

Please send me a DM with your availability + your current experience with LSAT (particular struggles/strengths, areas of focus, etc.) if interested!

PT27.S4.Q07 - If you know a lot about history

https://classic.7sage.com/lsat_explanations/lsat-27-section-4-question-07/

I've watched JY's explanation and the only other forum post regarding this question, but I'm still not sure why my reasoning for B is incorrect.

I understand the diagramming to be:

P: know a lot about history —> easy to impress intellectuals

C: /(know a lot about history) —> /(easy to impress intellectuals)

I also understand this to be a case of:

Invalid Argument Structure

A —> B

———

/A —> /B

What doesn't make sense to me is I chose B though because I'm thinking it's possible

(you could know a lot about history ---> /(easy to impress intellectuals)) or (A --> /B). I'm not sure if my reasoning is correct and it's just not appropriate in this situation because it fails step 2 of the flaw test or if something else about it is flat-out incorrect. Any feedback is appreciated. Thank you.

Looking for a study buddy January 2024 lsat

Hi,

I'm looking for some folks who would want to do in-depth review of questions/tests in anticipation of January 2024 lsat (but also any test date before June which will be the last LG administration). Happy to do all three sections.

I currently have an 8-5 (PST) job so I'm mostly available either after work, on the weekends, or before work.

I'm open to meeting online through Zoom or something similar.

Current range is from 169-175, but by no means am I only looking for study buddies who are within that range.

EDIT as of 12/5/23 -- I do weekly facetime calls on Discord to study with others..message me directly if you want to join!
