A really isn't supported at all by the passage. At no point is there any reference to an underestimate, and they never once mentioned that a natural disaster has occurred that the cheetahs survived. If there had been a disaster that they survived, then yes, the underestimate option would be likely. However, given that it isn't mentioned, nor anything similar, A can be dismissed. Furthermore, this is a most strongly supported question. As such, D is the right answer because we have no reason to believe there is an underestimate - and with such a small population it is clear they cannot survive a natural disaster in the near future.
Hi! I am interested and I am taking the February LSAT as well (it will be my first). I am EST, and I will be unavailable this upcoming week (graduated Sunday, going to Florida until Monday).
I am particularly interested in working on LR. I will be studying throughout the day until January 3, then I begin work full time and I will study after 6pm until test day.
Thanks!
