I am planning on sending out requests for letters of rec on August 1st. I want to apply for the Fall 2019 cycle. If all goes as planned I am looking to hit the submit button on my apps when my September scores return in late September. Is this enough time for my writers to furnish their letters? Also, one of the professors I only had for a semester, though I am taking her this upcoming semester and sort of knew her prior through a student organization. We hit it off well and I did good in the class. Would it be appropriate to ask her for a letter?

So I am about to resume prep for the Nov. test after getting my results today. Unfortunately, I have used all of the pt's at KHAN. Should I restart my account fresh there to go along with 7 sage's core curriculum?
LR was not too bad, but I was thrown off by an early question, I remember exactly it was #2 because I could not believe I was struggling with QUESTION 2!!!! It was related to medical residents, anyone else have thoughts on this one?
@ Yes, I believe so.
@ Yes, I think there was a similar question a few pt's ago. Basically I thought in general with ? like these it's possible that population to begin was super small. idk
@ I don't wanna state more than what's allowed, but my approach to understanding was considering what did the population start at to begin with???
@ I know that was real, I only had two LR. I think it was designed to be one of the harder questions in the section, but I almost missed it and fell for the trap.
There was a question in LR related to an animal that grew in size after a noisy industry machine left? Anyone else remember?
I thought "c" was wrong because the passage indicates that the records indicate "DEGREE" of safety, therefore they would include if the airline was safe or unsafe.
I think the wording of "D" can be easily misunderstood. At first, I took it to mean that we were talking about one person, now I see the contrast.
After trying a different approach, this became one of those questions where I got it right by eliminating all the other answers. They were all either irrelevant in some way or could not be drawn from the information in the passage.
I have been using it in-sync with 7 sage. I definitely do not think it is a waste, although I prefer and feel the core curriculum of 7sage is preferable. Also, the biggest draw for KA is the convnience of the practice tests offered online and how well they track your progress for you. Overall, I feel that both have benefitted me greatly.
Is it acceptable to request a fee waiver with no LSAT score? I am thinking of having all of my applications ready to submit when scores are released and would appreciate having this out the way? Thoughts?
I agree ^^^, logic games over reading comp. all day!
Does anyone know if I apply now will my Saturday score from November be seen by the schools. Is there anything else I'd have to do to get that to them?
Pretty much second everything already said! Practically speaking often times I feel unmotivated when I have been drilling a certain section or portion of the test too long, so I switch it up. Overall, breaks are key though as they allow your time spent studying to hopefully be more productive, and not just going through the motions.
Thanks everyone! I sent out the email this morning and she joyfully accepted my request.
So, I recently came across a concept some of you are probably familiar with known as "hindsight bias." For our purposes, it probably translates to seeing a question you got wrong and then immediately discounting it thinking it was just a simple mistake that you won't repeat? I am trying my best to have a healthy relationship with it which I believe boils down to simply being honest, after all there's no gain when I am not, especially when I am doing drills or PT'S. Can anyone else relate?

I had the same problem, and it really threw me. Was the your first LR section? It was for me I think.
Yeah, it was my first section. Overall gave me bad footing for the rest of the test. Hoping it was experimental as my other two LR sections were much easier
No, this was real, I only had two LR. Still can't wait to find the answer to this one, weird for question #2.
