I guess I have a hard time seeing how E is contradictory.

Restriction doesn’t seem to = prevention.

I can put restrictions on Usain Bolt in a race against me and not be trying to prevent him from winning. Maybe just even the race.

#help

Restricting access does not mean preventing it. I’m lost

Does anyone use underlying on LR?

So, I’ve noticed that I went from -3 or -4 on LR back to -7 because I don’t use the underline/highlight feature on the digital exams. On the paper exams I could quickly underline the P and C which would help me see flaws better before jumping into answers choices…

But now I just try to do it all in my head because I’m afraid of taking more time or messing up.

I’m doing it on my phone tho. Wondering if it’s easier on the tablet? Does anyone else use this feature to help? Or should I just scrap it?

This read more like a SA question. Seems like B justifies the argument if assumed

LR skimming?

I recently posted this question on Reddit, however, I am not sure that the people who responded have enough experience with the test to get exactly what I am asking. So,

Would you guys recommend AGAINST (in questions which require that I analyze an argument)… First, quickly skimming/hunting for the conclusion, then quickly searching for the supporting premise or premises. As opposed to reading the stim from top to bottom?

I know that in order to anticipate the answer correctly all I need are these to things, the rest (background) just serves to slow me down or set me up for trap answers. Also, I am able to shave of a few seconds per question. However, I just started doing this and not sure if it’s a smart idea to make habit.

I am able to do this for most question types including;

strengthen

weaken

required and basic assumptions

SA/PSA

Flaw

Match flaw

What do you guys think? Do you already do this?

Thanks in advance 🙏🏽
