More for my own curiosity, what made you choose to include 3 LORs instead of 2? Do you think the 2 LORs from your professors will be dramatically different/show different sides of your application?

It makes a lot of sense to me to include 1 from a professor and 1from a professional connection, but I was under the impression that most schools tend to actually prefer 2 unless the LORs are quite different? I totally could be mistaken on this though, would be interested in hearing anyone's input on this

Hi there! I am sorry to hear it is a tough decision for you. I am in a similar boat and actually decided to postpone for a year. However, to be honest, I was already weighing the option of doing so, since I did not get into my top school and I was fine letting go of my existing offers. This gives me a chance to reapply and I get to stay at my job which I currently enjoy for the most part.

One thing to consider — if the decision to take loans/leave your job is something that will weigh very heavily on you in an uncertain time like we are in, it might have an adverse impact on your performance in law school and your overall experience. That is personally what sealed the deal for me. I wanted to be 100% confident that I was making the right choice, and I know the "what if going to school was a bad choice" thoughts would be too much for me right now.

I was nervous that I was letting the stress scare me out of going, however for me this is the largest financial decision I have ever made so waiting an extra year (even if it turns out to be an "over reaction" on my part) was the right move for me.

However, I also considered that there really is no "wrong" choice as long as you are comfortable with what you decide. In theory, both the choice to stay at your job and the choice to go to law school will give you the opportunity to improve and grow, just in different ways!

Hope that helps give some perspective on how I decided!

Hi, I'll echo what Yazzie said. My scores TANKED the weeks before my first LSAT, but the test itself was fine! I think I got in my own head about it. Try some untimed sections or sections you already know to help build back some confidence

I am planning on February but would still be interested! I am west coast time

Hi everyone!

I was curious if anyone else struggles with this. I constantly miss between 2 and 4 on games, but almost always my misses are from the generally easier questions.

Case in point, I did PT 88's LG section and got all of questions for the last 2 games correct (both rated 5 of 5 difficulty, and includes the notorious flower game), but missed a whooping 7 questions on the first 2 games (rated a 1 of 5 and 3 of 5). This is a notoriously hard games section, so I wasn't surprised to miss so many but I can't believe they were all from the easier games.

I feel like this comes from being able to get the key inferences on hard games, but freezing on the more open ended games? I really am at a loss of what to do.

Has anyone experienced this? If anyone has recommendations on getting through this, I would really appreciate it! I've been fool proofing for a while now and nothing seems to help.

@ I was told by the LSAC that it was too late to cancel and receive the coupon a few days ago, but was able to pick what date I switched to. The exact quote from the email if this helps you:

"It is too late to receive a coupon however I would be happy to move your registration to a later test date. Please let me know which date you would like to register for."

Im not sure what the difference between getting a coupon and switching is since it seems like they let you pick any date?

Are you sure?
