Hi! I went through a similar situation with the April LSAT (preferred Friday but had to take it Saturday). I found out that your preference during registration has NO actual impact on what day you will take the exam. The scheduling for the August LSAT exam opens around July 23. During that time, you will have the chance to schedule on any of the primary test days, regardless of whatever day you chose as your preference.
