Hi, I have a question regarding law school apps
currently, I'm serving in Korean Air Force for two years
but as I work on the application I wondering whether it would be okay for me to
put Republic of Korea, Air Force on the full time employment section.
I do know they have separate "military" section
but as I'm not enlisted in the US military branch, I certainly cannot state my Korean Air Force on that section.
Thanks in advance!
Hello everyone,
I wanted to ask everyone what are my chances for my targeted law school.
Here is my brief resume
I took Feb LSAT and received 161.
I also graduated from UCLA with GPA 3.65 as Political Science Major.
After graduating from UCLA, I worked at a Law Office for a year.
Then, I am currently enlisted in South Korea Air Force to complete my duty.
Since I am international student and my family is currently having financial difficulty,
I HAVE to receive scholarship from law schools.
I am planning to apply to schools like Loyola Marymount, Pepperdine, and UCSD.
I want to go to schools like UCLA and USC but I know my LSAT score is not good enough.
Here is loyola admission rate.
For the fall 2013 entering class our LSAT range is:
25th% = 156
50th% = 159
75th% = 161
The GPA range is:
25th% = 3.30
50th% = 3.47
75th% = 3.62
In your opinion, what are my chances to get scholarship from schools like Loyola and Pepperdine?
and how much would it be?
Thank you! yeah I was taking like 1 - 2 PTs daily since like mid-Jan, so I feel like my brain was just exhausted. I decided to take a day off and start studying again tmr.
I will try to see where I go til next week and decide to withdraw or not
I really appreciate your advice!
Hi guys so I really need your advice.
I've been studying LSAT for like 2 - 3 months now.
Since Im currently in Korea, LSAT is on Feb 23rd
I'm in a situation where its bit different from you guys.
I am getting enlisted in Air Force on Feb 24th, that's why I tried to get my score before I get enlisted
However, I failed the december one big time...
I need to get at least 164 but scored lower than 160 on dec one.
Recently, I took a few PT 56-57-58 .
At first, it seemed like I was making some improvement as I scored 163 and 160 but then on today's 58..
I got like 25 wrongs without last section of LR.
To me, it feels like my LR skill just got worse. Im getting way too many wrongs on LR section.
If it were you guys, would u guys cancel Feb one and take the later LSAT?
the only reason i tried to get score before i get enlisted was as I was not guaranteed to study while im there
So, my original plan was to get the score then apply in 2015 and go back to US asap.
But now, I really don't know what to do because my score is simply not going up.
Yeah most ppl take LSAT once and gets it done,
well to me, since it was my dream to be a lawyer, I would not hesitate to take it for three times if necessary.
so yeah I really need u guys help!
okay guys im preparing to take this Feb one but im having a problem with LR section.
so, when i do the blind review, I always end up changing 4 -5 answers. and end up getting like 3 - 4 wrongs.
I guess the positive side is that those second guessed answers are mostly right
but Im bit worried as it indicates i would have gotten 8 - 9 wrongs without having a chance to second guess myself.
I had this problem for few weeks now
Any tips or suggestions? help!
One more question. my weakest section is RC
Im trying to improve it by reading magazines like TImes or Economists.
Do any of you guys have different method to improve RC?
