Idk if this is the right way to think about it (so please correct me if im wrong) but one of the reasons I picked C is because the passage said "sustained focuse" which gave me a little bit more confidence in C's "consistently throughout"
Hi, I am not sure if this is the right way to think about it, but here is how/why I ruled out E.
For the stimulus it says: math should increase because..."studies show students who have taken one or more advanced mathematics courses are far more likely to have high grade point averages"
Whereas E says: reading should inspire them because..."studies show that children who have not been read to are less likely to develop an interest..."
Whereas D says: buying shoes increase because..."those who buy (similar to who have) two or more pairs of running shoes each year tend to (similar to are more likely to) exercise more often than those who buy at most one pair"
I picked D over E because it matched the positive language in the stimulus. Both are version of "who have" and "more likely." Where is is "have not" and "less likely."
Again I am not sure if this is a legit strategy, or if I just got lucky. But when Im stuck between two options, I do a cursory look at the structure and language.

How far apart were those two tests for you?
