Hi! They help to define an element in the group you are working in. In your example above, your group is red and the flower garden is a sub-group of red.
Red --> Roses
Red --> Thorny
Red (sub flower garden)
Red (sub flower garden) --> Roses (sub flower garden)
If red things in the flower garden then roses in the flower garden.
Red (sub flower garden) --> Thorny (sub flower garden)
If there are red things in the flower garden then there are thorny things.
Roses some Thorny
Some roses are thorny
Another example would be: All boys like the eat burgers. Tom is a boy. Therefore, Tom likes to eat burgers.
Boy --> Eat Burger
Boy (sub Tom)
Eat Burger (sub Tom)
Hope this helps!
Hi! If you want to gain some extra points quickly, I would focus on drilling the logic games. Take the games that you find difficult or don't finish in the recommended time and keep completing the game (5,10,15 times if necessary) until you can make all inferences and complete the game in the right amount of time. If you are struggling with the SA or MBT questions in LR, strengthening your logic will definitely help with both LG and LR. RC is really difficult to improve on. I try to read actively and stay engaged with the articles while also focusing on the tone and POV of the author. Regarding timing, it's always better to have more time to prepare. But, this test also stinks to study for so it's really preference.
Good luck!
Definitely take a break! You should be solid on everything by now. This week is just to relax and enjoy life before the test. Maybe take a couple of timed sections here or there and practice the games to stay in the groove of things. I would limit taking PTs to once or twice this week. You want to be as fresh as possible for the day of the test. Congrats on almost being done!
