This is especially concerning with 35k+ testing this month. If true, hopefully they fixed this, but just have a plan in case you get screwed.

Where did you hear there are 35k for Jan?? There were more writing days for November and I was told there was only like 28k for that round!

I wrote in November and used my Macbook (2016) with Google Chrome and no issues. You do have a conversation with the Proctor before. They ask you to read out the agreement, show your room/supplies, ID, etc. and when I was finished I spoke to the same Proctor to let them know I was done and they let me know when it was "safe" to close the exam.

Everybody has different strengths but this was my experience... Personally I did the Powerscore Bibles the first time I wrote the LSAT (studied May-Oct) and wish I would have known about 7Sage earlier. I found that I wasn't retaining anything that I was reading and I was learning skills that were more geared towards the paper exam (I was using the 2019 bibles as I had intentions of studying earlier that never happened so maybe that was my mistake). The only Bible I actually found helpful was the Logic Games (usually averaged -3 prior to 7Sage, but this is also my favourite section and the section I studied first of the three so maybe I was just more motivated)

I've been doing 7Sage for about 6 weeks and feel like this is a wayyy better method for me. I kind of took the plunge and only compared Powerscore and 7Sage and just went with reviews from a lawstudents thread and I have no regrets. JY's teaching style feels very real (i.e. not robotic/monotone) and I'm able to focus longer and truly understand what is being taught to me. I also like that the format of 7Sage is similar to the actual LSAT (however I did a few practice exams on LSAC Lawhub to get a feel for the minor differences).

In 6 weeks my PT's and my timing has improved. 1 more week and hopefully my real score will improve too!

well I plan on taking the april lsat too, did you guys know they would release scheduling today? or should I just be checking my email in the morning every day closer to the april test date

Registrations open 9 days prior to the first testing date (so since Jan starts on the 16th, registration was on Jan 7 at 12EST). LSAC sent out an email two days prior, on Jan 5th with the time that registration opened, and then sent another email on Jan 7th 5 minutes after 12 to remind you that scheduling was open. Did you not get anything?! I'd double check your LSAC account to make sure you email is correct as well as your junk folder.

I heard that for previous Flex writers who were already signed up with ProctorU and under LSAC's institution they opened it early, so for April, if that is your second writing, I would honestly check a few hours before the "opening time".

Check out LSAC Law Hub - you will have access to the premium as its required to pay for it with a 7Sage account using your LSAC log in. The LSAC Law Hub style is the exact same as the LSAT Flex :) they are very similar though.

I just tried to schedule mine and the only times were at 4:00 am PST ....anyone else have this issue?

You might be out of luck if you waited too late to sign up. Sign ups opened this morning and I was actually able to register a bit earlier than the "sign up time" (not sure how, I just happened to log onto ProctorU and noticed it was open) so it's possible that all of the slots are taken. But it doesn't hurt to keep checking to see if people cancel/reschedule.

The Flex is administered using Proctor U - the same website where you sign up for an exam slot. I made sure I had an account prior but LSAC sends you an email a few days before, as well as te day of with specific instructions!

Your GPA + a 160 should get you in to multiple Canadian schools? U of A, UNB, U of C, TRU, U of S and U of M...

I don't know much about Ontario schools because none of them are on my list so I can't speak to that, but if you read Accepted 2020 threads on lawstudents forums you should see you are well in the range of acceptance.
