I was in the same boat, I was stuck in the 150s for what seemed like forever, regularly getting 8-10 wrong on LR, 8-10 wrong on LG and 10 wrong on RC, always running out of time. I finally broke into the 160s with the ability to finish(or almost finish) the sections, though I can have a bad day as well. I still have a long road ahead of me. What helped me was taking a break, and then doing 1 or 2 sections a day, with an individual LR questions or logic games on the side. When I tried to study too much I got burnt out so I scaled it back. For every question I got wrong, I wrote a note next to the question of what I did wrong, like read answer too fast, didn't read all answers, forgot rule, etc. Then a day later, I would look back at all the notes I wrote down the day earlier, so my mistakes could really sink in and I could avoid repeating them in the future. Also make sure you're getting at least 7 hours of sleep, it makes a big difference.
I remember the lawyer/ do it yourself question being from an easier LR section. Well, at least I hope so
@ yes I remember it being pretty short if I recall correctly
@ That sucks, I would get 18-20 points on a LG section but that 2nd game threw me off. I was also shaky on the 4th game, hopefully games 1 and 3 went well
@ I had that order, though the actual experiential sexton. might be placed differently. I think section 3 was experimental for me, section 1 was definitely real
Yeah just chill out for a bit. It's hard for me because I've gotten so used to studying for the LSAT that taking time off seems weird. I think I may retake too. We'll see when scores come out
@ The second game I didn't get at all, I had the rules but couldn't answer the first question, it was bizarre
@ it was more difficult for me as well, I hope the scoring scale is more laxed
@ Yes, do you think it was nerves as well or was the test just more difficult
I'm surprised people found this test easier than December. I took the December test as a prep test and felt better then I do now
I feel like a completely got wrecked in reading comp :( Is one bad section enough grounds to cancel? I feel like I did good on the other sections
I had a question about music awards, did anyone else have that same question.
If I retake in June, how I am supposed to study for 4 months when Im almost out of prep materials?
The gala question is real
:( which sucks cuz that's the LR section I ran out of time too early, while I did way better on the other two
@.parham its totally possible, and no problem
@.parham well since I'm working full time it took me a few months, but looking back at it I could've reached 160 a lot sooner if I really thoroughly reviewed my mistakes. That's the key I would say
Yes it is very possible, my base score was the same as yours and I saw and improvement to the 160s. In my opinion 9-10 hours a day is too much. Try scaling it down to 2 hours a day over 5 days and 5 hours one day. I experienced burnout early in the process because I overdid it. When I scaled back my studying and really paid attention to my mistakes I saw real improvement in my scores.
