You're not alone! PT 72 was pretty tough in the LR & LG sections, especially in comparison to PT 71. I'm in the same boat, PT 71 was my highest score thus far and PT 72 is one of my lowest. Sometimes you have to roll with the punches; something to keep in mind as future law students and lawyers.

I'm signed up for January as well, using this as motivation to work on accuracy leading up to test day and to make sure that PT72 is the last lower score I get for the remainder of the study period. One outlier score is a disappointment not a set back.

As long as you've indicated on OLSAS that you will be taking the Jan LSAT you will be fine.

If you haven't you can go to the LSAT section on OLSAS and edit when you will be taking it. It's one of the few things you can edit after applications have been submitted. As long as you write an LSAT before the cut off days for your schools you will be fine.

The schools in Ontario take the highest LSAT score on your record so I don't think that cancelling a score would negatively affect your application.

I struggle with this to! When I'm doing a difficult LR or RC passage I'll put my cursor under each word I read which causes you to read a bit slower but has helped with my accuracy. Same way you would do if you were taking a paper version and using your pencil to read along.

When do you think the Ontario schools will review and respond to our applications?

It depends on the school. I think the first wave starts in March. I know people who have been accepted to Queens and Ryerson in June/July/August

Hey,

The January 2021 LSAT score does not update on OLSAS right away. I wrote both Nov and Jan like you and my January score is not updated yet either.

I don't remember the specific timeline but with the November score I remember it was a couple days or maybe even a week before it was uploaded to OLSAS.

I don't think you have anything to worry about, the schools won't review your application until all your lsats are completed.
