Okay, kind of a long post but I am feeling super discouraged after getting October LSAT results and I'm scheduled to take the November test. I feel like I have gotten the absolute worst luck of the draw on LSATs and can't tell if I'm just being dramatic or not.

I've taken 3 LSATs so far, two of them two years ago, then focused on work until a few months ago when I decided to apply again and took the October 2021 LSAT...here's how each one went:

September 2019: aka PT88 and flowers game, a notoriously hard LSAT, and I was okay with my score considering it was a hard test, but I knew it didn't show my potential so I decided to take the November 2019 test.

November 2019: Show up to the test and the proctors never arrive, so our entire test center gets rescheduled BUT we have to do a paper test. I had not practiced on paper at all since all the tests had moved to electronic, so I ended up scoring 4 points lower because you can't see time remaining and I just wasn't used to the timing of filling out the scantron.

October 2021: I originally sat for the test on Saturday when it was interrupted and I waited 2 hours to be told it was going to be rescheduled. The test I originally had was 2 LG sections, which is my strongsuit, and the easier RC section. When I retook the test, I got back to back RC sections with the scored section (Mali and Paternalism) being the second of the two, as well as the Duets logic game.

I got the same score as my Sep 2019 test...

I just feel like all the tests have been stacked against me and it is so frustrating when some tests feel so unfair. I have been PTing in the low 170s but have had awful luck during all of my actual LSATs. Am I just being dramatic?

How do I stay motivated when it just feels like I'll never get a fair test administration?

I feel like AC A absolutely strengthens the argument because building their nests at the base of the tree strongly points to the fact that they couldn't just easily start flying from the ground. Why would it build it's nest at the top of the tree if it has to climb all the way up there? It makes more sense that a dinosaur that can't fly to the top of a tree would build it's nest at the base.

Also I feel like AC E does nothing for it because the fact that predators can't climb trees still means it could be either type of flying dinosaur. If it can fly from the ground to the top of a tree it is still just as safe as a flying dinosaur that has to climb to the top of the tree.

lollll “Wait, another LG section? And this flowers game... it’s so weird. I’ve never seen anything like this before. Must be experimental.”

Didn't know 7Sage was reading my mind in September 2019 :')

I am registered for the October LSAT and was wondering if there is any difference between the test depending on which day you take it...I think the options are the 9th, 10th, and 12th.

Was there a pattern on the August LSAT, for example if you take it the first day your experimental section will appear last, or is it just totally random?

And are all of the scored sections of the test the exact same across the different testing days, or are there going to be 3 totally different tests?

Regarding AC A, I feel like the word "unfortunately" in the stimulus does point to what we should or shouldn't do?

I don't understand why B is wrong. I get JY's explanation, but he doesn't talk about the fact that the conclusion is "to reduce the amount of psych exhaustion...divide their vacation time" which I translated as Reduce Exhaustion → Divide Vacations, so that is a sufficiency necessity confusion right?

Which would make B correct because vacations aren't the only way to reduce exhaustion. Can anyone explain why this is wrong?? Thank you!

Turns out a scheduling opened way sooner than it was supposed to. I logged on at 11:55 ET because I wanted to be able to get an 11am spot, and it let me schedule my test right when I logged in (before noon) and al the morning spots were gone.

So annoyed with this whole process. If you’re going to ruin a bunch of people’s exam experience, at least give them the correct time to reschedule.

I feel like these newer LR sections require you to make assumptions that older LSATs penalized you for...I feel like the correct AC on this question would've been incorrect on an older test because you can't just assume that periods of rainfall mean more vegetation.

If anything I would think that a drought means there is the same amount of vegetation, but now it's dry/dead and would catch fire easier

Also, was anyone able to just pick up where they left off and finish the test?

I feel like for LR and RC that’s so hard to do but for LG that’s kind of a huge advantage because you can just figure everything out during the long break

Are we allowed to close out of everything and leave the room? Mine paused during my second session and my proctor just disconnected without saying anything. Is it for sure that the test is just going to be rescheduled or do we need to stay in the room and wait?

But is it reasonable to assume that the stimulus was written by a human

Confirm action

Are you sure?
