If you're willing to wait until next admission cycle to apply, I'd personally cancel. If you're going to be applying this cycle regardless of how January goes, probably best to keep it.

I think it also depends on how you're scoring. Naturally someone who's scoring 150 should spend significantly more time reviewing than someone who's achieving 170.

I'm usually doing one every 2-4 days as I like to feel as though I've made some ground on whatever I felt was weak on my previous one before I 'use' another PT. I also find this helps almost look forward to writing the next PT, as you have something new you're wanting to apply.

I'd also be more inclined to take a PT more often if my BR was significant higher than my timed score, as I'd think I could benefit the most from gaining speed at that point.

Study Partner for January LSAT

Hi!

For reference, I'm currently scoring around 168-171. I've scored 176 once (I've only taken 11 PT's). Please have similar scores!

I'd like to find a serious study partner for the January LSAT. Ideally this would consist of taking 2-3 PT's per week and blind reviewing them separately, then coming together to compare our BR (though, I'm open to suggestions on doing other things). Preferably have enough PT's left so that we're not too restricted in our choices.

This would serve for accountability as well as the fact that I've heard BRing with other has constantly pushed people out of their plateaus.

Finally, my breakdown is roughly LG -0/-1, LR -0/-2 , RC -4/-8. My RC is wildly inconsistent, so preferably a partner with strong RC and weaker LR and/or LG would likely benefit the relationship the most.

I don't really see any disadvantage doing the full test. But it's sort of like training for a 10km race by timing yourself doing 15km. It'll help your endurance I'm sure, but who knows how fast you could've ran the 10km alone. Especially if you had 3 sections instead of 2 before, say, RC. It might just impact what your score could've been.

That said, it'll only help you if you're writing when they revert back to normal.

My PT average is roughly 168 over my past 7 PT's. I scored a 166 on the Nov flex and am aiming for 172+ on the January flex.

I usually do pretty well on LG/LR (-0 to -3) and around -5 to -8 on RC. I'd like to find a partner who's stronger on the RC side of things with similar scores otherwise.

I have most of my 60's to 80's left and will be doing 2 PT's a week from this range for the next 2-3weeks followed by 3 PT's a week thereafter until the Jan flex. I'd like to find a partner to compare BR's with via zoom or something for each PT if possible.

I made a similar post and didn't follow up about a two weeks ago with a lot of people because I took a hiatus in studying, but I promise I'll reach out this time!

When people refer to the trend of high scores, or the inflation of people at 160+, what data are they pulling from? I'd love to take a look at it as I can't seem to find it myself.
