For those applying this cycle or are already in law school, what is your take on the personal statement length. The majority of the schools I'm applying to either doesn't list a specific length or says 2-4 pages max. With my current draft, I believe I could finish out at around 3 pages.

@nordeend22 but could be mistaken, that 155 is the average score.
The average score has typically been around 151/152

Don't think of the PT 70+'s as an automatic drop to your PT scores. Although they might have gotten trickier, they really aren't that much harder per se...perhaps RC, the newer RC is a pain in the butt.
Long story short, I pretty much scored within +/- 2 points on the October exam from my PT avg.
I took the test for the 3rd time.
Since you are aiming for Feb or June, sounds like you planning to apply next fall. I would recommend taking it in June since you stated the exam will have a priority over work. I would honestly take a bit more time off now and restart studying come mid to late November. Burnout was real during my ~15 months of studying. If I felt an incoming burnout, I was sure to take a week off from the LSAT completely.
@bondo007man235 So I was wondering what score I would have to get to at least have some sort of guaranteed assistance from the school.
This truly depends on the specific school? Is it a T14 or a school ranked 50+?
@974 Most scholarships are going to come with stipulations regardless, and I've never heard of a school giving a scholarship with no restrictions but I'm sure there could be some.
Yeah as far as I know, the most lenient stipulation would be to remain in good academic standing. That's like a 2.0 or something so chances are you'll keep it.
Your question is too vague lol. But typically guaranteed scholarships I would think are scholarships where you just have to be in minimum academic status to keep. Some of the lower ranked schools require you to maintain at least the median (top 50%) or even higher to keep your scholarship so you should really be careful with those schools.

Type in a school into LST and you'll see a breakdown for employment. But typically as you go down the ranking, less Biglaw/Fed Clerkship and more small firm placement.
Hope this helps.
If anyone would like to swap personal statements, PM me!
Yeah I couldn't date it other than the fact that it has a comparative passage.
This test just came out earlier this year so I don't expect there to be full explanations just yet.
HTH!
Are you a student? Working full/part-time? That could help us/you determine the right amount of time you could be optimally studying for.
Per Cambridge's site: "Official LSAT content in both printed and downloadable form will only be available for a short time. If you need to purchase LSAT content, be sure to do so soon."
GET YOUR STUFF RIGHT NOW! I'm guessing they were able to work something out with LSAC even if just temporary. I bought the PT 1-38 packets for LR/RC/LG as well as 5-section PT's from them and they were crucial in preparing for my 3 takes.
I also recommend getting The Trainer by Mike Kim.
Thanks. I love LST
Can't comment on the age since I'm younger than you but apply when you are ready to apply. That includes having a high score that you would be content applying with.
Applying in late feb/early March would drastically limit your ability to collect scholarships so I recommend applying first thing the following cycle.
Not leaving yet!.....but I just finished my 3rd and last LSAT!
I took 3 consecutive sittings Feb-June-Oct of this year and am grateful that 7Sage has been there for the journey. My LG by and large improved the most. On my diagnostic back in July 2014 I got like a 7/23 on LG and I'm 99% confident I got a perfect 23/23 on today's LG.
Now I get to look forward to polishing up my PS and get ready to submit when scores come out.
Just a food for thought. Applying with a Feb score will likely leave you with little to no scholarships as these too are also on a rolling basis. If you manage to kill it in Dec, you'll be able to complete your apps by the first week of Jan and that'll be about normal.

Would reviewing the tactics of a particular game be unacceptable?
yes unacceptable.

Then is it OK to discuss general difficulty level of the sections? How about discussing which section was likely the experimental section?
Thanks!
I'm not exactly too sure how strict 7Sage regarding the other two questions. I know you are free to discuss on TLS.
@alexandergreene93842 You're not going to get anything out of taking another PT at this point. The exam is in 4 days. Why would you take another PT on Thursday? Even when I PT'd 3 times a week I wouldn't take 2 PTs in a span of three days (I'd PT Monday, Thursday and Sunday). You're have everything to lose and nothing to gain by doing that.
Agreed. If you insist on taking a PT, take one that you have already done in the past for a little bit of confidence booster.
I think you should do this at least once. Not everyone will have an awesome night of sleep on friday. I know I did during my past testing experience. I slept almost 2 hours less than my average and felt sluggish on the real thing.
This past monday, I had a rough night of sleep (not due to anxiety, just stupidly intaking caffeine/sugar sun evening) and ended up taking my last fresh PT. I made a few couple very stupid mistakes but scored within my avg range.
I was under the impression that asians are treated just like caucasian applicants but if what you're saying is true, more the merrier for me. :D
In!
