I am sharing my thought process of how I got to AC D!!!
The reason why I chose D as my answer choice was because it helps us eliminate an alternative causal relationship.
In the stimulus, they mention how they imposed an additional tax on cigarettes to fund the campaign. When I read this part, it made me think... maybe the reason why people are smoking less is because of this TAX and not due to the campaign, since cigarettes got more expensive.
However, the conclusion believes that the advertisement (not the tax) is what caused people to smoke less!!! AC D explains that the tax didn't actually affect the price of the cigarettes since sellers decreased the price of cigarettes due to this tax... this means there was ultimately no price increase and the conclusion is more supported...
(i hope this makes sense lol)
I might be going crazy but I am very confused why D is right...
based on my diagramming:
/living nerve tissue --> sheath begins to disintegrate after 3 months
sheath /begins to distinegrate after 3 months --> living nerve tissue
How can we know from implanting nerve tissue that the sheath won't disintegrate when it is NOT a sufficient.... am I going crazy..... any help would be great.. thank you
