Study Buddy in Sacramento - Anyone?

Hi All,

I am looking for a study buddy in Sacramento, California for in-person study and discussions. My PT scores are in the low 150s. My lowest scores are in the AR (Logic Games) section. If I don't time myself, I find that I do much better. Speed seems to be my worst barrier in Logic Games. I love LR section and have achieved quite some milestone. If you live in Sacramento and would like to study in-person, please let me know. I wish everyone the very best. We got this!

I love the quote "To study and not think is a waste. To think and not study is dangerous." However, I think the name of the author is misspelled.

Thank You, J.Y Ping, 7Sage Team, and Community!

Before I sign out from this family of network, I want to first thank J.Y. for his divinity. He will forever be a man I respect deeply, whose guidance through this LSAT journey has been like a powerful torchlight in darkness.

I got a score I am proud of, and that would not have been possible without J.Y. (It was not working out at the gym or drinking coffee that led to my score increase. :) A million thanks, J.Y.!!!

I also thank the community here for their support. I met great friends through this channel, without whom not.

7Sage helped me a ton with the LSAT, and I will be recommending this prep course for those who struggle with the test.

If you need to reach me, I can be contacted at my email address [redacted]

See you all in law school or beyond.

Study Buddies

Hi All,

I hope everyone is having a good weekend. I started my LSAT journey with a diagnostic score of 140. I am currently scoring in the low 160s and blind reviewing at 174+. I plan to sit for the LSAT between September/October.

I am in need of a study buddy of the description below:

a) scores in the high 150s and low 160s;

b) interested in taking the LSAT in September/October;

c) aims at reaching a 170 ballpark; and

d) ready to be a committed and dedicated study buddy.

If this is you, please inbox me.

Second, I need people who are scoring in the 140s who want to raise their scores to mid 150s and low 160s. I would be sharing helpful information that has served me well in this process, especially on Logical Reasoning and Logic Games. This is all for free. It is my way of giving back to this community and also a means to solidifying the contents I have learned so far. Also, because the LSAT can be a lonely and frustrating journey, if you just want to vent, I am here for you. If you feel this is for you, please inbox me.

Whatever your score is at this time, please know that that is immaterial. You can reach any score you want in this test (regardless of your diagnostic score) if you are willing to mentally sweat for it.

This is a very good question that is worthy of concern. First, I want to assure you that you will do better if you don't give up. There is something called "plateau in the curves of learning." This is the point in learning anything that it appears no progress is being made. You might have hit this spot in your LSAT preparation. It is only an appearance, not reality. The secret to moving to a higher level in the curve of learning? Stick-to-it-iveness. Grit. Tenacity. Determination. Resoluteness. An unyielding spirit.

On a personal note, I never spoke English when I was 19. Today I speak three languages fluently, including English. By sheer determination and effort of the will, I have three college degrees and graduated at the top of both my undergraduate and masters classes.

I am 100% sure that if you stick to your LSAT preparation, and do everything within your power, you will see a tremendous score increase. But you must NEVER give up! Let me leave you with the sagacious words of Abraham Lincoln: "Always bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed is more important than any other."

More specific to the LSAT, do a foolproof of ALL Logic Games. If you can get at least 20 questions correctly on the Logic Games alone, you will see a score increase. I am also available to study with you and perhaps provide more direct support and encouragement.

We shall overcome.

I am searching for study buddies who would be sitting for the LSAT next year, whose goal score is 165+, and are willing to team up with me to beat the LSAT. Please contact me if you are interested.

I wish everyone success in their preparation for the LSAT and career path.
