Based on the examples that I've read, people often go with the one story that made them want to pursue law. And how those attributes will not only help their success in law school, but also how it will make them great lawyers. What I tell myself in the process of writing my personal statement is that it's time to showcase the skills that you have in other ways that your application may not. So, don't get too caught up is solely telling the story. That'll cause you miss the opportunity to let admissions get a feel of who you are aside from your story.
