Hello!
I'm in a bit of a pickle. Here are the facts:
I moved from CO to WA to attend University of Washington (1st choice, the reason why we moved) or Seattle University (back up, try to transfer to UW after 1st year)
I received full tuition at Denver University!!
I have half of tuition paid for at Seattle University.
I planned to use DU to wager scholarship funds at Seattle University but I doubt they'll match full tuition.
My boyfriend and I have been dating for 6 years and made the move to WA together
So. I was waitlisted at University of Washington! Im looking at this as a glass half full. I applied early decision to set me up for the Gates Scholarship through UW. Its their public service scholarship that offers covered tutition.
The deadline is 1/15....should I email the school to remind them I plan on applying for the scholarship even though Im not admitted?
They also stated not to send in continued letters of interest. I'll know around May if I get off the waitlist.
I moved from CO to go to UW so Im riding the waitlist out to the bitterend! I also plan on applying to other schools/scholarships just in case things fall through.
Thanks!
Hello All,
I'm torn because my minor in possession of alcohol is only on my academic record. I had to go before a disciplinary board. All I had to do was participate in some therapy sessions. It was my freshman year, first semester back in 2013. Im looking at the admissions lessons and they all seem to target actual criminal charges. Think I need an addendum?
Letsss goooooooo!!!! Went from a 135 to 153!!!!! At least I can finally get into a decent law school!!! IM DONE ?????⚖??????
Oh thank you so much! I'm sick of missing these questions!

Hello! Wanted to know if anyone had PT questions for some common flaws that I can watch? I'm looking for a necessary/sufficiency confusion and correlation/causation so I can see the two flaws back to back. Thanks:)
#help what's the amount of time you should spend on these questions? I initially skipped this question and came back to it at the end but ran out of time
#help question 12. I tend to get to the fourth passage with about 8-9 minutes left. During the real test would you select A and move on (like you would in Logic games) or would you do a shallow dip to confirm your answer choice?
Hello all! June is approaching fast and I keep thinking about taking mental breaks from the LSAT to refresh. I typically go on a run or hang out with some friends. However, when I do this, my next PT/Drill session is the worst! It's like I completely forgot about all of my lessons. I try to do some warm up problems before I take a PT but even then, I find myself re-watching CC videos. Any advice to take a mental break without forgetting things?
Shout out to @jhaldy10325, I finished my round of BR with his advice and realized I was making the same mistakes on the same questions over and over again. Now I know what I was thinking in my mind and how to prevent those same mistakes. I hope to see some improvement for my next PT. Totally helped, thanks man.
#help I eliminated B because I felt like it was attacking the premise. I understand why it weakens the argument now but I want to make sure I don’t make the same mistake in the future.
@jhaldy10325 you're probably right. I find myself confirming my own answers and ignoring the other questions. Thanks for the advice. I'll try this for this round of BR.
I BR either the next day or within 2 days. And I use the same test I took to BR with.
My BR and Actual Scores are the same for the last 3 PT's! I take my PT on Saturdays and BR for about 1 hour per section...Except for Reading Comp. I don't know how to BR that section....Anyway. I've improved A LOT since I started (135 to 154) since taking the December test. I want to get to 160 but I don't know what I'm doing wrong in my BR's.

I tried to read the comments below but still can't eliminate B with 100% confidence. #help I kinda understand what b is saying but I could use someone else explaining the error would help. Thanks!
I like to prevent myself from being influenced by the subject matter in these questions by taking the most abstract (Something like A→B, A, therefore B) to get the most general method of reasoning and then matching it to the answer choice.
In this case, the stimulus translates roughly to:
Other method does not explain this action. An alternative action is better.
This combined with noticing the comparative statements "even more" and "than" helped me confirm E as the correct answer.
Just wanted to say this because my boyfriend is sick of listening to me talk about the LSAT.
I took a practice test two weeks ago and literally cried in the library. It was pretty much the worst thing in the world. But then, I took a PT today at 45 minutes per section. I did this to give myself the chance to actually get through the test. And then it happened.
I tackled a LR, logic heavy question 18 or something like that. I smiled in the middle of the test because I ACTUALLY DIDN'T FREAK OUT! I answered the question confidently because I spent the last two weeks BR'ing drilling. I don't know if I got the question right but I'm just happy that I attempted the question!
That's the breakthrough moment and it feels sooo good. So believe me, it feels like the end of the world now but just wait till you kill the LSAT on game day.
#help S4 Q13. I understand why all of the other choices are incorrect but I still don't see why A is the correct answer.
Thanks for responding! Its actually double layer sequencing and grouping games that get me. I Fool proofed most of the sequencing games in the sequencing lessons. I just started fool proofing in/out games. When I got to PT 36, I couldn't get through the first game without getting stuck or forgetting basic in/out rules which then made me timid to make inferences.

Turns out this test scares the living s**t out of me. During CC, I had no problem killing the LR questions and often ended up with -4 on reading comp (loosely timed sections). I also spent the last two weeks drilling logic games with some difficulty but not paralyzing...
But then I took my first practice test since taking the december 2017 test yesterday. I tried my best to refocus but during section 4 Logic games, I froze and stared at the test for the last 10 minutes.
I'm looking for some advice to dip my feet in the water and kill this test by the June LSAT. Help a sista out!!
I'm going to be completely honest with you. I work full time at the courthouse and I'm working to take the June test right now....I have the premium plan and it's hard. I try to watch a couple lessons in the morning before work, then I watch lessons during my lunch break and then I put in about 2 hours at home every night. Then on the weekends, I working on LSAT for literally 8 hours. YOU WILL FALL BEHIND! Sometimes you get sick, sometimes you absolutely need a break from the LSAT so you can refresh your mind. This is just me but I wanted to put my two cents out there. I wish the best of luck to you though!
@leahbeuk911 heya! We've been talking for literally a year, I can't believe you're in Seattle! I appreciate your advice! I think its fair to ask UW about other scholarships/applying for FASFA. Especially since Seattle University seat deposit is due April and at the latest, Ill hear from UW in May....
Anyway, I'm sending out positive vibes for you!
