PTing in low-mid 170s, trying to improve a 169 with focused BR and curve breaker question analysis (trying to break out of that 16high - 17low zone!). Currently taking about one full PT/day, was thinking of doing BR with some people twice a week? Let me know --

Don't let anyone tell you that studying for 3-5 months isn't sufficient. Some people do this for years, some people can get a 170+ after a month. I've been at it for 4 months and went from ~150, totally clueless about how to do LG, etc, to PT-ing at 178.
Silly, I thought falls apart means the methane is only then detectable
I'm BR PT61 and PT62 today if anyone wants to jump in when they finish a section, just PM me

Wait, so the book is incorrect?
The LSAT industrial complex produces not an insignificant amount of incorrect info w/r/t LSAC's official tests & style

@ second that, one Flex per day is not too much.
@ I had the same experience, really freaked me out. Having to click around to get back to your previous LG answers. And what really made me furious was the fact that even the default answers shown when you come to a new question on LR are B, C, D, E, and you usually have to actively scroll up to see A. So if you forget you're screwed. This seems just objectively much harder than paper.
I am consistently -0 on LG and had to guess on the last 3 also, diagrammed it wrong cus was so panic'd
Unless my score goes up 6/7 pts I'll have to wait until year to apply. But in principle it's not too late. Depends on the caliber of the school and if it's a reach for you.
I just did 2-3 PTs a day for the last four days - probably a mistake, scores got increasingly worse. Just a warning to everyone - fool proofing and drilling are better strategies. Pls write me if you have more to suggest.
Same thing happened when I simulated the Flex settings on Lawhub today. I immediately took another (back to back) because I've been scoring 168-170 and on the Flex I wound up with a 160. Second test got another 160. Very miserable feeling. Wat do...
I'm also doing it out of order b/c I need to work on certain things more than others. If you do have the time, I would recommend doing it in order though. This isn't the best method.
anyone know why this is happening and how to avoid it?
Same here! Taking in Nov and exactly 4-5 below what I need/want. I'm doing the fool proof LG method to pick up those pts because I'm not at 0/-1 yet. Also taking about a PT a day when possible after work. Lmk if you want to partner up somehow.

The answers to this passage surprised me mostly because I felt like the author wasn't taking a stance on either of the hypotheses. Seemed like they were saying: some people say X, some say Y; Y is interesting but falls short of being perfect. How do we know author is pro H1?
Explanation for Q12 AC A is off. Authors seem to be saying truth is contingent/dependent upon emotional (subjective) reality. If truth were truly independent of emotion, wouldn't we be the Assyrian historians? #help
I'm going hard til Jan
Thoughts? App would be complete on Dec 1 when scores are released --

If it's for Duke, it may be too late. I asked an admissions officer point-blank during an information session and he flat-out told me spots will be full by December.
Can you elaborate a little bit? Does that mean Nov is too late as well? If Nov scores are released Dec first...Or did they just mean they will be finished filling spots by the end of Dec? Thank you
Hi I'd love to join as well.
I like JY's whisper/comforting tone in this one. Special.

First major improvements I made were from fool-proofing LGs until I was making all the inferences when I saw a new game. It's really like learning a new language and that's why for some of us it takes a long time. Once you get your LG to -1/0 every time, then just slowly work away at the nuances of RC and LR. And yes I took ~70 PTs. I don't blind review personally, but I know it's the best method. If there's any fundamental lesson I learned about studying for the LSAT, it's that exposure trumps everything. Try to take every PT in existence and then take them all again. If you do that you will get a 175+ on the real thing.
