Is it possible/likely to get into a school if your GPA is above the 75th percentile but your LSAT is below the 25th percentile?
I'd check out the 7sage predictor (https://classic.7sage.com/predictor/) to vaguely gauge your chances, but take it with a grain of salt. Don't forget that you're submitting an entire application -- in addition to your LSAT and GPA, you're also submitting a personal statement, recommendation letters, transcript(s), diversity statements, et al. Good luck! I'm sure you'll be fine
#help I got this one right, but am still really uncertain about it. From my understanding, C is correct because the computer program could have been more likely to diagnose heart attacks which did not occur than the cardiologist. But isn't this overdiagnosis accounted for in the stimulus: "The program CORRECTLY diagnosed..."? It seems like C is attacking the truth of a premise.
I would love some help! I am studying for the August LSAT but don't feel ready. Guidance with the LR section in particular would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance.
Hey, tested in the 150s and am shooting for 170+. Would love to join as well.
I'm so sorry to hear that you're feeling dejected. It sucks when we put so much time into something only to get disappointing results. You should definitely still apply this cycle; you have a great GPA, and I'm sure the other parts of your application are going to be astounding. I do think taking the LSAT again is a great idea, but I'd caution against taking it in November since it's in two weeks. While the January LSAT date is not desirable, you won't be at a disadvantage if you get your LSAT score up (I'd use mylsn.info and lawschoolnumbers to see the months that URM applicants successfully submitted their apps to schools like Stanford and Berkeley to double-check, but I'm certain you'll be fine submitting apps then). I know you can do it!
