If I have someone writing a rec letter, is he allowed to submit two letters (one that is school specific and one that is general for all law schools)? Would I send him the rec letter request twice?
Please let me know!!

Congrats!!! Can you share your stats with us?? (gpa/lsat) ... and how many lsats you took if you took it more than once!
Congrats again!
LR -8, LG -2 (I shouldn't have missed these two..careless mistake), RC -10, LR -7
i should meditate...but meditating is difficult. I have difficulty concentrating when i'm NOT taking a PT...and get so distracted....is 5 minutes of meditation enough? how long does it need to be?
Also - today was the first time I took a PT in 3 months....since I was originally trying to take June LSAT...and postponed to October..it was a fresh brand new PT...and I scored a 165....-27 out of 100 questions. If only I can get like 10 more questions right consistently within the next month...and get a high 160 score for October....
I haven't looked at the answers so I will BR'ing it tonight!
Thanks for all the support you guys are all awesome!
Thanks so much for the encouragement @ !!
@.hopkins I should really try the BR group. I actually took PT 62 a few weeks ago - should I just come to the review anyway and look at questions that I wasn't comfortable with??
Thanks both for the responses! I actually have the Manhattan RC book as well - it seems helpful but I actually am not doing any better on RC. *sigh. Thanks for all the advice - I'll keep these in mind and I'll keep you guys posted on how it goes! I'm taking another PT this Saturday so I shall see what happens....
I've started studying since January with a score of 158. After a few practice tests, I had some scores in the low 160s - I had a 162, 165, and 163...and then suddenly one day it went down to a 157...157...153....158....157 (i've taken 12 PTs so far). I just took one today and it's a 157 again, which is lower than my initial diagnostic. I'm so frustrated and June is just around the corner. Is it even possible to go up to a 165 at least in the next 4 weeks? (out of my 12 PTs....3 were in the 160's and the other 9 was in the 150's....)
My worst section is unfortunately RC (I can miss anywhere from 9-14). Games is my best section - if I have a very good LG section I will miss 1 or 2. When I do poorly I'll miss like 4-5. LR (I miss like 5-6 on one section, and then the other LR sections always sucks...miss 8-9). When I do timed sections 35 sections during my study - I tend to get more correct.
Also - when you do BR....which is essentially answering the questions untimed after taking the PT. Do you have to do a BR for the whole test in one sitting? or even the section in one sitting? or is it just untimed anytime I want?
Some encouragement or advice is much needed...please...
I would like to have a study group!! I live in midtown west! need to rock the exam in June
Thank you for the encouragement! I needed it. Even though I'm scoring low right now - around 158-160..should I be taking a lot of timed practice tests? When I do stuff untimed...I feel like I get it but when I'm on the clock I like blank out and just have no idea what I read for some LR questions and end up wasting so much time...
I don't know how I need to be studying and what "quality" study is.
I would love to meet up too! I live in midtown and work full time.
So I took the LSAT 3 years ago and got a 147. Since a year ago, I've been half-ass studying and have been PTing at around 157-160. With intense studying for 2 months...is it possible for me to get to minimum 167 for the october exam? It seems so impossible to get to the mid-high 160s. I don't even know HOW to study and what is effective studying. I have 5 brand new PTs that I haven't touched. I really want to go to a top 14 law school. I really want to be done with this exam...and go to law school next fall. I've been delaying it since last June because I'm not scoring what I want. How do I need to study and how many hours? Is it really possible? My worst sections are LR and RC. I'm feeling so hopeless...
sounds good!!
Hi - so I postponed my test for October but I'm just curious if anyone has taken an exam in these locations:
CUNY School of Law or Pace University? Which one is better?
@ how are you studying?? Thats a huge - great job. My initial diagnostic ever was low 140s....from 2 years ago...but when I started studying again this January - it was a 158 and I've still been in that range 158-161 for the last 6 months, and it seems like I won't be able to take the June at this rate. Really interested to hear how you've been studying to make that jump and also how long it took you to be consistently in the mid 160s after how many PTs? I've taken 15 LSAT tests already within the 6 months and really didn't improve much.
