I'd be down to read a PS if someone is down to read mine!

Hi, the failing grade will NOT be replaced. All of your final grades will show up on the transcript, whether you retook the class or not. You'll just have two grades for the same course.

I really hope there is some type of test center we can go too for the LSAT; I prefer pen & paper, over online when taking tests.

LSAC actually stopped administering pen and paper tests, so even if we were able to test in person after COVID-19 has improved, the test will still be on a tablet and not pen and paper.

Hi all,

I'm offering free tutoring for people scoring in the 150s and low 160s. I'm most open to helping with LR but would be happy to help with some LG and RC as well. I'd like to take one or two students in for a weekly session. Message me if interested!

I had a blanket during my previous Flex test and the proctor saw it and didn't care if that's also something you'd want to do.

If you're aiming for 170+ and you haven't hit the 160's yet, I would push it back. You CAN improve in a month, but you will likely have to push back a cycle unfortunately.

There are multiple reasons why someone could take a class pass/fail. My undergrad encouraged anyone taking a class that may have been way out of their major/comfort zone to consider taking it pass fail so you still get the chance to enjoy the class and learn about a topic you maybe otherwise wouldn't without having to stress as much about the outcome for your GPA. I'm not sure admissions would just assume you were pass/failing to cover up a really low grade.

At the end of the day, law school admissions care about the numbers, so if you think the 4.0 would boost your cumulative GPA nicely, that's something I would consider. You do have to take the lower credit load into account though. A 4.0 with 5 classes is going to have a much bigger impact on your overall GPA than a 4.0 with 3 classes. I'd recommend running the numbers with your cumulative to see the impact either would have.

Also, there is no December test. I don't know if that was a typo, but the next test is January.

Just took my test. Felt exactly on par with the May 2020 release and October Flex. Nothing out of the ordinary, pretty standard in terms of difficulty.

Word of advice for anyone taking the test - be prepared for a harder test but don't let other people's experiences shake you. I kept telling myself that going into it because these threads were starting to worry me and I think it really helped.

Definitely reach out to everyone again, but I believe if no-one else, someone in your schools career services office should be able to write a LOR for you.

For those of you who've taken November - are proctors still "checking" your equipment between sections?

I think the election has been a nice break and has distracted me the right amount.

@ Most recently the discrepancy happened on PT's 46 and 47. Hope this helps.

Discrepancy between Score Converter and PT score

I recently discovered that the score 7sage gives me when I complete an LSAT flex has been different in some instances than the score I get after I input results into the score converter. I always make sure the score converter is reflecting the right PT. Is there an explanation for this? and which is more reliable?

Edit: I also always make sure the "Two LR Sections" box isn't selected in the converter.

@ oh DUH haha. Thank you! I was limiting my search to the intro to logic and advanced logic sections, and I KNEW I remembered there were lessons on some and most... just didn't remember them being in their own section.

Lesson on some and most?

Is there a lesson on some and most for conditional statements? I just searched through the course and couldn't find anything.

I see no reason you should take it if you aren't applying this cycle and aren't where you want to be. Save the score preview for a more valuable LSAT sitting. I see taking it for the sake of the experience as a better argument if it wasn't a Flex test.

@ @ I'm in the same boat, scoring in the high 160's low-mid 170's and would love to do some BR before November a few times if either of you do. I've heard it can be really helpful to hear how other people work through problems.

Agree with @, I would reach out directly. I've attended quite a few schools virtual information sessions, and they say that all you have to do is reach out and tell them to hold on reviewing your application and they will be happy to do so.
