Kind of a silly question but when taking the LSAT flex is it allowed to talk to yourself? I find it easier to do the questions when I can read them out loud ^_^. Also can you use cntrl + F to search for words?

The phrase 'closer to thinking' is what tripped me up, because I perceived the question as a degree question (ie to what degree does one think). My thought was computers perform functions that are closer to thinking but not that nonhuman animals don't think it's just that they don't think to the level of computers, so that would imply that you do still need to think just not to the degree a computer does.
Wouldn't the phrase 'takes for granted' imply that the author's reasoning is ignoring the fact that popularity is a good indicator of accuracy, which wouldn't be a flaw then because that's what the author is implying?
