Hey everyone! If I need to add something to my application after I already submitted it, can I do so? I realized my doctor didn't fill out one question, and I originally didn't think it was crucial, but now I'm thinking it may be necessary. Any advice on how to go about this?

Hey future lawyers,
I will be applying to a few schools in New York this cycle. I was wondering where do these students live. Housing in the city is unreasonable, and the commute from other burrows can be quite far. Do students just take out loans for housing? Plus it seems like most NY schools don't provide housing. What's going on NY law students?
.
@ completely new essays? My reason for wanting to go to law school hasn't changed.
@ I want to work in the tri-state area (NY,NJ,PA). I really only want to apply to schools in this area (there is a limited number of well ranked schools), but then I don't want to regret not applying to better ranked schools outside the area that may possibly benefit me more. I'm not referring to the top schools, I'm thinking Boston, Emory, George Wash. Would they benefit me more than say Temple, RU, Cardozo. I'm trying to narrow down my list, as I honestly can't afford to apply to as many schools as I would like.
Thank you everyone
Hey guys, I'm gathering my list of schools I want to apply to and I want it to be very practical. So, is it more important to apply to schools in the area that I want to work in. Or should I be applying to the best ranked schools I think I maybe able to get in (regardless of location). For example, is it better for me to go to a school ranked in the 20's in the midwest, or a school ranked in the 50's that's in the state I want to work in?
Hey everyone, so this is my second time applying to law school. I've been looking up whatever or not I have to change my application from last year to reapply. I don't have much to update besides a summer job that I had. I've seen an article that said they can't be exactly the same, and I've seen some that said it's not necessary to change anything. I think I might change my PS slightly and update my resume. Is it necessary that I do anything else?
Hey everyone, happy thanksgiving! Last year one of my LSAT scores came out about a week before the predicated date. Does anyone think that may happen for the November exam. I want to have all my apps ready by the time the scores come out. Thanks
Hey future lawyers,
I am in the midst of applying for accommodations for my disease. This condition causes me to have various complications when it comes to concentrating. My condition becomes worse under stress, which is inevitable when taking the LSAT. I was wondering if anyone has requested for accommodations before, and if so how did you go about it? Also I am applying for 100% extra time. However, if I get denied, will they deny me without considering me for 50% extra time? Anyone who has been approved for accommodations, please help!
Thanks for all your feedback everyone. I guess we'll just have to wait and see how things turn out this cycle. Let's hope and pray for the best!
Thank you everyone for the help. That definitely clarifies a lot.
Thank you everyone for your valuable feedback. It's definitely calmed my nerves. The only thing to do now is wait until December for those scores. Good luck to you all!
So I have been reading the discussion on the exam and now I'm getting nervous about my score. The LGs were unfortunate due to the the mining question as I usually shoot to get -0 for LG. Due to one of the substitution questions and the mining question I probably missed a few. Also I remember struggling a little on the last LG question too. I did terrible on the experimental LG, so I almost cried when I found out that's not being scored. To me the RC didn't seem too bad, but then again my brain is fried and I can't remember much. I also feel like since June 2017 they have changed the language of the LR sections to use softer answers, where sometimes two answers can work but we have to pick the best one that for ex: "weakens the most." So I don't know how to feel about LR, and this seems like this will be the direction of future exams. Many people are saying it was difficult and now I'm scared that I shouldn't feel confident in my efforts, and maybe I should be studying to retake. So please leave your feedback on the overall difficulty of the exam. Was it way more difficult than the other exam this year?
I can definitely relate to your experience. My last two exams I nearly experienced the same sickness and panic attack. I would advise you to take care of your health and make it your priority to get your stress under control. Stress and anxiety are toxic and can have severe effects on your body. My stress induced a serious medical condition in me, that's taken me nearly a year to regain back my health. I don't say this to scare you, just to let you know that your health is more important than this exam. Trust God and realize there's nothing else you can do besides your best.
For those who received accommodations for additional time, how are you studying for it? With work, it's nearly impossible to fit an entire full length exam in. So I'm basically doing a section a day and reviewing it. However, I fear I'm not taking into account how draining the duration of the exam may be. How can I better prepare for this? Any advice is welcomed, thanks!
I'm having a hard time understanding this question at all. I've found very little help online for this question. Can anyone please explain.

@ thank you so much
@ @ Thank you so much, I'm about to order it now. But when the hands more, does it tick silent?
Since the Mastermind watch is banned, I need a watch very quickly in time for the exam on Saturday. I had purchased one from Kohl's but it is too loud. Does anyone know where to get a silent watch??
Thank you all for your insight. I think a lot of people had a hard time with the June 2018 exam @ @, so you're not alone lol.
I think the June exams are more difficult. I almost always do better on the December exams. I took the June 2017 exam and scored -4 from my average. June 2018 I did my average. And December 2017 I did +2 from my average. I'm praying this November exam reflects how I've been doing on the December exams.
Anyone have any thoughts on how this law suit will affect law school admissions? If the plaintiff's win, will it only affect undergraduate institutions? How immediately will that change URM admissions? Will it change it at all? Race is an evident part of many people's identity, and can be written all over their application. Will diversity be something schools won't promote? Because diversity doesn't always involve race. I'm very curious about this case. I'd love to hear what you guys are thinking.
Check your numbers on Law School Numbers
Thank you for the advice everyone!
Is there actually a difference in exam difficulty in regards to the month. I heard June exams tend to be quite harder than other exams. And the December exams can tend to be easier. I feel that when I take a June exam its always a lot rougher on me. What do you guys think?
Hey everyone, I'm wondering what trends this admissions cycle will follow. I've recently read an article that said this cycle will be slow and that applicants are down. I've also read that less people are reaching top scores. But I've also seen some saying this year may have a surge of applicants (just like last year) due to the "Trump Bump". Can anyone give any insight or direct me to any articles that are helpful?
I feel there is a significant difference. The new exams have similar content but different language. I just took the June 2018 exam, and I found the exam to be a lot more difficult than exams even 5 years prior. You need to practice the newer exams. The logic games can be very different as they now throw in at least one miscellaneous game that may talk about events, or have long names, in place of the variables.
Maybe ask for a scribe along with additional time or stop the clock breaks (so you can stop to explain to him/her what you need).
When do schools usually send out fee waivers after new lsat scores come out? A few days, a few weeks? Some schools do not offer need based fee waivers, and I'm hoping with my new score I may receive a merit based one. I don't want to apply if they'll be sending some out soon
I would apply now, unless you only want to get into top schools. And retake in March if you are waitlisted at some schools you really want to get into
Thank you for the insight @
I was wondering how the process of applying early decision for a URM is? I'm very nervous to apply early decision anywhere because of the possibility of not receiving a scholarship. I was wondering if being a URM would help concerning the aid I would possibly receive.
My friends got their scores back and I haven't yet. Ahhhh the wait!
Hey guys I'm wondering if the mastermind watch is banned? Has anyone used it on a recent test?
@ thank you! @ that's what I would like to know. I believe it used to come out in batches. But since the LSAC president made that announcement about fairness for the scores I figured they would all come out at once. If anyone has any insight please let us know
Is there a specific time scores come out tomorrow?
I know I'm ahead of things even thinking about admitted students day. However, I've heard that students shouldn't bring their parents or any guest to admitted students day. Why is this so? Having any kind of companion to help me decided ultimately where I go to school is very important to me.
So I submitted my application last week. I heard it takes about two weeks, but I'm getting so impatient. Does anyone want to share a story about how getting accommodations really helped them and their score? I'd love to hear anything positive to pass the time.
Even when I'm blind reviewing my RC sections I'm still getting a lot wrong. I look for the answers on Manhattan Prep and Powerscore, and it seems like even they can't give an accurate explanation as to why an answer is correct. So how are people doing well on RC when some of these answers are unexplainable?
I'm quite interested in studying health law but many schools don't offer this program. The T-14 only has some schools with health law courses, but there isn't a large focus on it. However, many tier 2/3 schools have health law departments and programs. Should I be focused on getting into the best ranked school I can? Or school I focus on a school that has my interests?
Have you received a fee waiver from nyu, Columbia, or upenn? Upenn's applications seems tedious and hard to be accepted for. And nyu and Columbia don't send out need based fee waivers
