My favorite moment: my husband always hangs around when i listen to J.Y's logic game videos. So when i was taking practice tests I used J.Y's proctor voice. My husband goes: hey that sounds like the guy in your videos! I was like: yeah it is the same guy. He was quite baffled by the fact that you can choose your own proctor voice and one of the voices is J.Y's. I started laughing so hard at his reaction.

It seems like most of your problem is not the techniques but what I call "personal demons". I struggle with these demons as well, such as confidence issue, burnout and letting the test control you instead of controlling the test yourself. I really don't know completely how to fight these because I score as high as 163 in timed PTs at home but never scored higher than 159 in real lsat. However I do have few advice, because I had terrible first section LG in the December LSAt 13/23 but powered through and got -5 and -4 in the following LR sections.

First of all, just have a piece of mind. I know it sounds cliche, but think this way: is it really that big of a deal? I mean is it the end of the world If you don't get into law school? Think how many more unfortunate people out there in the world with terrible diseases, no limbs, lost their lost ones etc. Really puts things into perspective. Therefore have an attitude: i am not scared of this test, bring it. This is not a huge deal. It is important, I will do my best, but I do not fear this test. Be the master of the test and your own destiny. Always look at the bigger picture.

I also read Mike's Trainer and feel that it was very useful to me. It helped in a way that is different than powerscore bibles. It helped it to just click in my head what type of test it is and how to battle this test. Instead of zeroing into specific techniques this book helped to learn specific general topics that help in any questions.

Exercising is great idea. You said you think this is insurmountable hurtle but you are smart kid and test is making you depressed. This is a sign that you are letting the test disrupt you and control you. You have to get your confidence back. Just think you will do your best and the rest is not within your control.

Hope this helps :)

What would you do?

Hi everyone. I am in a huge dilemma. Chapman Law offered me full ride scholarship. It is close to my house and better drive. Loyola offered me 102k which means around 47k out of pocket. Loyola is obviously better ranked and more well-known.

Another dilemma is that i will be having a baby this august right when the programm starts. If i were to take a year off i would have to reapply and may or may not get the same offers. If u were me which school and what year would u choose to go and why? Help me with ur opinions please

At least you guys have more shots! While i am glad i dont have to study for lsat anymore i wish i had another shot. So use your 3 shots wisely and plan ahead and see where you could really improve. Sometimes matter of few points make huge difference in the amount of money and school rankings you can get. Esp if one year of studying could possibly give u full ride might as well, that is like more money than an annual salary at some jobs. I feel like i could push it to 165ish with more practice and lg drills. My LR has been stagnant for long time -5. So i feel like lg and rc could improve lot more, but i expired my 3 shots

I already expired my 3 retakes so most likely to never look at lsat again. I am whatever with my score enough to get scholarship from chapman, loyola may or may not get accepted to uci and usc. I have improved 12 points from my diagnostic in 9 months. Thank you J.Y and 7sage team for all ur wonderful logic games videos. Dunno what i would have done without them.

I did not ask about the score per se, but in general: avg pt or way off the pt, specific difficult section etc. I performed especially bad in RC than usual, so was wondering if the fellow 7sagers felt the same.

How were your performances?

Yeah all the sections are wrong. They are from pt73. Maaaaan did really solid on two LRs bombed the game and the RC.

Did anyone else struggled with the Mexican-Americans passage or was it just me? Can't help but feel that they have been increasing the difficulty for the RC with each test :( It is like you have to be Albus Dumbledore to ace the RC nowadays.
