Sometimes, strengthen & weakening questions can fall into a Supply v Demand sub-group. Similar to how, sometimes, S&T questions fall into an Argument by Analogy subgroup
In this question we are given the premise that supply can grow some more, but supply is capped. Therefore the author concluds, one day, supply will no longer be able to meet demand.
With this in mind. Let us look at the answer choices:
A) Could be taken as Increasing future supply. This answer choice could strengthen if it stated that renewable resources would not meet future demand. Weakens the argument.
B) Restates the premise with a more specific example. Neither strengthens nor weakens.
C) Decreases future demand. Weakens the argument.
D) Past events are not indicative of future results. lol
E) States exactly what we are looking for: Demand exceeding supply.
This is happening to me. I'm thinking the same stimulus is used, with different questions. can anyone confirm? lol
