KS and ErickT, when I read your post I found it funny, because the frustration is exactly what I'm feeling right now.

I started off with the Bibles, did 7Sage, then tried to review both while getting after the PTs.

The problem for me is consistency throughout the test. On certain LR sections I can get 5 wrong, while on others its 6-8. On RC I'm fluctuating anywhere from 4-8 in timed conditions.

I'm hammering away at the PTs, but I don't notice a real improvement, but I think like most things, there's a threshold that you have to breach before improvement can occur. Or at least I hope so, then again I'm not shooting for a 170, just need my 165-166 to go where I want.

JY, I'm looking back at this problem and I'm wondering if there was an exercise dedicated to translating things like this.

I was wondering what everyone's thoughts were on this method?

So far I've just been doing VIEWSTAMP and following the 7Sage advice, but I can't help but miss several per PT section. Anyhow, I was wondering if it would help to switch it up a bit by absorbing the questions first, but I am worried that this approach wouldn't work because my reading would become biased.

Blanking on Logical Reasoning

Just took my first PT from the syllabus #36.

I went blank on the logical reasoning section. Is this normal for a first PT and if not, what can I do to improve.

Other sections were -6, -6, and -5.

JY, this question reminds me of the LR question about the business executives and the professors. It's almost the exact same but with different names.

Hey,

That's exactly my problem. I feel as if I can always get it down to two, but from there I'm just gambling with a 50/50.

Thanks for the advice on the strong language, I feel as if that has been part of the problem.

Thanks for the advice guys.

PM me if anyone wants a study buddy or someone to move along with till February that's doing a re-take.

Hello everyone,

I'm having trouble with the LR sections. I can't seem to get a proper hold of when to diagram or when not to, and it usually ends with me taking the trap answers.

I've walked through the 7sage LR guides, but I am not quite sure how to tackle these problems effectively. Does 7sage or does anyone know a drill or another place where I could look.

Thanks in advance.

February Re-Take

Hey guys,

I took the LSAT in December, but was not happy with my score. I've done much better on previous PTs.

I was wondering if anyone out there was or is in a similar situation. How should I approach this next month? Should I revisit some of the main concepts and then redo some of the PTs?

Thanks in advance everyone.

Well, looks like I'm going to be drawing the Jedi and Goku now on my LSAT.

Confirm action

Are you sure?
