I am definitely interested! When are you planning to start this?

That also happened to me! Check analytics and see what are your weak areas and try to work on those questions. You probably didn’t do as good the second time because you got questions that you need more practice on.

November 2020 LSAT

Hey, anyone interested in becoming study buddies? I want someone who is willing to do serious studying and put in at least 12 hours a day! I don’t even mind having a group of four people. Please feel free to message me and we can communicate via Skype.

Thank you and best of luck to all preparing to write the LSAT in the future.

Thanks a lot guys. I have heard about the lawsuit, but I wasn't sure when this would take place.

January LSAT

I am unsure what to do, and if you guys can give me advice I would really appreciate it!

So I am registered to write the January LSAT, which is in a few days. I wasn’t able to study enough because I work two jobs and other family responsibilities! I am scoring in the 140s and I have already applied to two good law schools in Canada (UofT and Queens) and plan to apply in the states. Should I defer the exam and write it in April and withdrawal the applications for Canada? Or should I write it and if I score that bad the day of the exam I can rewrite it again ?

Also, I am unfamiliar with the American applications but is it possible to apply in February 2021 and write the exam in March 2021 and still get in for fall 2021? I really want to start this year!

Accommodation

Does anyone know how to request accommodation for where to write the exam? I think it will be too difficult for me to write it at home with a big family.

I have not mastered the games either and I am taking the April exam most likely! But it took me a month of on and off to see a major improvement! I agree with @ keep practicing until you get familiar with the patterns, then you will be faster at going through the games. I think the best thing to do is repeat the game you did not get perfect on, that’s what I kept doing. You just have to be dedicated to do this for the next two months! Good luck!

I think the more you do games, the faster you get, and then the time doesn’t become an issue because you’ve picked up on and memorized the inferences. I got better with the timed game section when I started drilling literally nonstop and learned the inferences.

I wish I could help you with LR, but that’s my worse section tbh! I’m thinking to get a tutor or redo the entire LR section again to see where I went wrong. Which question types are you most struggling with?

When are you taking the exam?

I agree this is the section where you can improve most, obviously you have to work on the other sections to get a good score overall.

You should take your time with each game, and do the blind review before reviewing your answers, I believe this is where you learn most from, I say this from my own experience. I think you should worry about the time, once you start scoring really well on game section, have memorizes the inferences in general for the games, and you say to yourself I’ve got this. You really got this!

Oh and I recommend staying away from a game that you scored perfect on, because it’s too fresh in your mind to do it the next day. So, I suggest for two days work on other games or sections of the exam and then come back to the other one(s) and do it under time pressure. I hope this helps, good luck!

Thank you for the advise

I was in your position last year! I regretted wasting my LSAT attempts on scores I was dissatisfied with and ultimately knew wouldn't get me into any schools. I say give yourself the time you require for the exam and withdraw your applications this year. That saves you from unnecessary pressure and stress, while also allowing you to put your best foot forward in applications next cycle!

Question regarding applications

Hi guys,

I hope you’re all doing well to crush the LSAT!

I’ve got a question in regards to applications. I’m from Canada and planning to apply for law schools in the states. With most Canadian law schools their deadline is November 1st! As for the American law schools, they have different deadlines - mostly in February, march 2022 onwards. Can I still write the LSAT in January and have a chance to get in for 2022? I am kind of confused with how the American applications work?
