LORs from Graduate professors only

Quick question: is it OK to submit solely letters of recommendation from professors that I had during graduate school? In my case, I have one professor and one supervisor from work (I have been out of grad school for almost 4 years). I guess a follow up question could be whether I should get more professors from graduate school (I can ask another one).

Thanks!

That was very helpful guys! This all makes sense and sort of confirms my bias that the RC has become probably harder and it has shifted slightly in what is demands of us. Maybe that explains why in earlier prep tests I was able to scan things and pretty accurately answer the questions. Now, this is not the case and I feel that reading the question stems might actually clutter my mind and boggle down my understanding. Thanks everyone!

thank you so much for all of the info. It is kinda confusing, and I agree that I should always forward it but just in case that I get some correspondence after the 30 or 60 days that forwarding is allowed. I didn't realize that there is a permanent resident section. I will just input something that is perhaps less transient but that I might not be living there (like in-laws or parents). @ yeah I am not sure what to say. I don't know if your case then warrants an email be sent to the admission's office explaining the situation and asking for further guidance?

So the title of the discussion is gigantic but it summarizes it pretty accurately. I ask because during the 40's and 50's PTs, I was essentially scanning them just to get a sense of what to expect and whether I had to focus perhaps on a specific point of view or paragraph and I would also make a mark on sentences that are asked. For these PTs, I would get -1/-4 consistently and now that I am with the 60s and 70s PTs, the RC is just destroying me. Sometimes I do what I mentioned above with some success and sometimes I don't. Just wanted to get a sense of what people do here, especially of course if you are super successful with the RC passages. Maybe it all boils down to the RC passages becoming more and more difficult over the years, I don't know! Thanks!

Go on amazon and type logic games lsat prep test 20-39 or 1-19. Buy those and do those logic games a thousand times. Obviously don't write on the book that way you can reuse several times. This is what I have been doing…. I am now at an inconsistent -2/-3….Not the desired -0, but better than what I used to be, which was like -6 to -8

Strange situation regarding current address

Hi there,

This would be a miscellaneous question! So I am applying right now and in the first week of January but I will be moving out of my place to another place till mid February or so, and then I intend on moving once again, to yet another address, this time in a completely different state. What should I do in terms of putting my "current address" in the applications or in my resume and the like? Should I go ahead and just put my current address or should I put the future one? The final address would be able to receive any and all letters if it need be. I am thinking it might not matter at all since everything is done electronically these days and I feel compelled to just put my future address but I don't want to "lie" on my application

any thoughts are welcomed

Thanks!

Really?? I was hoping to ask my grad professors, since they have chronologically seem my "best" self. Either way I 'd assume that it doesn't matter as long as the professor can attest to your academic abilities in an authoritative manner, meaning that they have actually interacted with you….

Confirm action

Are you sure?
