@ I know that I spend WAY too much time on parallel questions even though they're time traps but I can't help it. I also struggle with flaw, assumption, and weaken questions.

LSAT Plateau

I started studying for the September LSAT in May while working 40hrs a week (which I will be doing until the end of August). I feel like I've plateaued with my last 4 tests - 162+/- 1pt and as much as I drill logic reasoning (I average -5 per section), it seems like I always get the same number of questions right. Also, when I drill the question types I have problems with and time myself doing so, I get about 90% of them right.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Would it be better to do a mix of drilling and timed sections instead of full prep tests? Would anyone recommend taking a break? I'm not really sure what to do.

Seriously freaking out because my goal is a 165 and it feels like the September test is really creeping up!

Reading Comprehension Inferences

I finally feel like I have the Memory Method for Reading Comp down and I have seen an improvement in my RC scores, but I continue to have trouble with any author inference questions or anything RC inference related. Any tips for how to overcome this?

skim reading during RC?

I know this is usually said to be a huge no-no, but in my studies (poli sci and sociology student) i skim read all the time and find it super helpful to save time.

When it comes to RC, I find I struggle the most with the wordings of the questions as opposed to the passage itself, so when I take 3-4mins to read the passage, I don't have enough time to answer all the questions properly and usually range anywhere from -7 to -10 on an RC section in the 60+ PTs.

Any ideas on how to overcome this? Even when I use the Memory Method, I still feel like I don't have enough time to answer the questions. Would skimming over specific details be beneficial or detrimental?

What do you guys read first?

I was wondering whether you guys read the question stimulus or question stem first? Powerscore says stimulus first, but the Trainer says the stem first, and I'm trying to figure out which would be better to improve my LR score

Random Drop in Score - Outlier???

Someone please please tell me this is just an anomaly and that everything is going to be okay lol (seriously freaking out here)

I scored a 157 today on PT #69, my lowest score since the second week of May (when I started studying).

When I started studying I was consistently in the low 160s and now I have been consistently scoring in the mid 160s for the past month or so, and so I feel a bit blindsided by this score, especially because I felt confident about the LR sections and I got 16/25 on one and 20/25 on the other. I kind of knew I messed up on the LG section as I ran out of time (which hasn't happened in months). I feel like it may be because I've been super tired this week and I wrote the test after an 8 hour work shift, but it'd be nice to hear some reassurance!

Also, if this happened to you, any advice on where to go from here?

Book Reccomendation

With 5 weeks until the day of the test, I have been consistently scoring in the mid-60s, anywhere between 162 and 165, with my best test at 167.

I find myself getting the same LR question types wrong (NA, SA, weaken, flaw, and sometimes resolve or strengthen). I have tried drilling the various question types and I still seem to be getting about -4/-5 per LR section.

The only book I have used for studying LR has been the PowerScore LR Bible, so I'm wondering if I should buy a different book to try and master these question types? I don't particularly want to spend more money but if it'll really help I'd be willing to do so.

I've read in discussion forums about the LSAT Trainer or Manhattan books. If someone could let me know what they think/their experiences it'd be much appreciated!
