Hey guys! Are you all going to prepare for the October LSAT assuming it's a Flex, or will you take full, 5 section practice tests?

I also think it's still worth it to apply. I know many people that have taken the January or February LSAT in the past and still gotten into good schools. Additionally, if you apply to your top choices this cycle and don't get in, they'll see next time you apply a persistent interest and that you aren't giving up on that school, which is a really good thing. Seeing that a student is determined and doesn't stop is positive.

"No" under "Eligible to Withdraw"

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know why there would be a "No" under the withdrawal section on my LSAC account? I am currently registered for both August & October and do not plan on taking August anymore. Any insight would be helpful.

Thanks!

@ when you were doing PT's leading up to the test, did you do them as LSAT flex or regular 5 sections?

I've been doing all 4 and I'm actually worse on the second. I know that there is a difference, however slight, in difficulty between the LR sections, so I figured I should do both. I guess 4 sections will seem easy on test day (July). However, I heard something about the conversion so I'm wondering what everyone else is doing.

@ what do you mean by '4 will seem easy on test day'? I thought that the Flex was only 3 sections? Thanks!

You should still apply! Find a couple schools that you're interested in that have deadlines over summer, many of them do, and shoot your shot. People have different things going on in their lives that prevent them from meeting the traditional cycle and the law schools understand that. If it doesn't work out, you just apply again early in the fall! If they see that you have applied to their school before, they'll see continued interest which will definitely work in your favor
