Hey,

Also taking the November test. I went through the whole process last year... two tests, got a 164, applied, got acceptances. Then I heard about the removal of logic games which were by far my worst section.

I decided to do it all over again, withdraw from my acceptances, and bet on getting a significantly better score. My PT scores have been better, but I am so scared that the real thing goes wrong and I wasted a year of my life for basically nothing.

Uncertainty is just part and parcel of standardized testing, particularly a test with as much significance as the LSAT. But it will be OK. Applying by November is plenty early, not as early as some crazy gunners but shit I put my apps in February of last cycle and had good options!

I do think you should consider taking it easier, doing 50 hour weeks is really hard. Focus on your sleep and physical maintenance, that will count on Saturday.

Good luck!! We will get through it.

Is this equivalent to a subset-superset diagram where the two circles overlap exactly?

That's how I visualized it in my head.

164-171

So thrilled with the results I was able to get. Previous administrations I just screwed around, didn't really have any structure, and while I got good results, I knew I could do better.

The syllabus really gave me comfort in the logic underlying the test and the analytics 7Sage offers are so much deeper than everything else I've tried. By the end I was actually loving drilling sections every morning, I am going to miss it. Not going to miss waiting for results though.

Thank you 7Sage!

Are you using the analytics to ID what question types you're struggling with most, reviewing the syllabus/strategies/your notes for those question types, drilling those question types?

Being more targeted might help you improve as well as help you not freak out by trying to do everything at once.

Good Luck!

Diagrammed this in real time using intersecting set logic... wasn't able to fully rid myself of the possibility that most mail was damaged but I knew that D basically had to be true and just sent it...

I basically did exactly what JY said at the beginning of the syllabus:

Studied in the morning as, let's be honest, that is when I and most of us are most alert an sharp.

Slept consistently from around 10pm to around 6:30 or 7. Did 15-20 mins of yoga in the morning. Meditated 10 mins a day. Exercised regularly. Stopped drinking (not that I was a big drinker at all before tbf).

Took the syllabus really seriously and made sure I understood all the formal logic that previously I fudged through with intuition.

1 PT a week on weekends. At least one timed section a day on weekday mornings + BR.

Serious blind review. It really works, just do it.

Fundamentally I put the LSAT front and center for 12 weeks. I didn't go on a couple trips with my family and girlfriend. I didn't get to play video games after work, and a lot of other little deferrals of gratification. But it really does work and paid off for me!
