Jan or Feb LSAT

Hi everyone,

I just started studying for the LSAT this week and plan to apply for Fall 2023 admission. The schools I'm applying to have an app deadline of March 1 or later so the Feb LSAT test will be valid. However, I am wondering when I should take the LSAT - Jan and Feb or Jan or Feb. If the latter, which month would be best? If I take it in Feb, I will have 1 more month to study but that's my only chance. If my Feb score isn't great, I will have to wait to apply for the following school year. If I take it in Jan, I can take the LSAT in Febif my score is not what I want (but I do not want to drain my brain out too and get a bad score). My undergrad GPA is low (graduated in 2016) so it's vital to have a high LSAT score. Any inputs on my dilemma?

I'm interested! Was initially only going to take the February LSAT but decided that I should take the January to see my score before I submit my applications.

Hi, will this session be recorded? I am on PST and won't be able to attend due to work.

Update - disregard, I saw a previous response to this same question.

Help! I don't think anything is clicking

Hi everyone,

This is my 2nd week of studying for the February test and I just feel like nothing is clicking. Once it gets a bit complicated, my brain just goes haywire. I've taken a diagnostic test and got 141 :( But the thing is...my brain is telling me this test shouldn't be hard to understand 😪

I'm going through sage's syllabus and have done some drills but I am just overwhelmed by everything that is offered and do not know what works and doesn't work. I would watch the explanation videos and understand it but then it goes out the field once I start practicing on my own. I work full time so I try to study at least 2-3 hours for at least 6 days of the week to prevent burnout but I just don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Do any of you have tips for me? Please help. I've considered getting a 7sage tutor but don't know if that will help if I've only been studying for 1 full week.

I googled some possible answers and came upon a reddit thread from a year ago. There were two options:

1: "Simply add the recommenders again on LSAC and they'll show up as new recommenders, and ask them submit the updated letter there. Once you do that, you can assign the recommenders' new letters to the school. Just make sure you don't get the old one and new one confused!"

2: "They can also login into their recommender portal and submit it for you where they did the last one. They have to indicate that they are replacing the old one and why."

It's honestly very hard to determine which option works best since we do not have any samples of what the recommender sees from their account...

Hopefully this helps a bit. If not, hopefully someone else can provide more definite answer.
