Hi! I’m kind of in the same boat as you. As someone who is really anxious for the October test, I’ve chosen to take both and use my October test to serve sort of as an ultimate PT in advance for the November test. That way if I struggle on any parts of the test (timing wise, general anxiety, or certain sections/problems), I can develop the necessary skills to adapt to them by November.

Taking a Gap Year Advice

So I’ve decided to officially take a gap year and while I know my chances at getting in when the Fall 2024 application cycle first opens is far better and taking a gap year will let me prepare for the June 2023 test without stress, I’m still a bit bummed. I always dreamed about going to law school straight from undergrad and I feel like some part of my dreams have been crushed a little.

If anyone has words of advice and encouragement to get past this and look toward the future with a positive light, I would really appreciate it (3 also if anyone has any suggestions on what to do during this gap year, I would really appreciate it.(/p)

Is the January LSAT too late for Fall 2023?

Hi all! Basically asking the question in the title. I'm up for November but for some reason I can't shake the fear that I won't be ready for it (as in, not the best I could do for the schools I want to get into). I've spoken to a few of the schools I wanted to apply to and they've all said they take the January LSAT, but I worry that even if I get a higher score in Jan than November, it will be too late to apply.

LSAT Anxiety

Anyone else having trouble studying out of pure anxiety? Every time I go to drill or even just sit down to rewatch the CC I feel so much anxiety knowing that I have to take the real thing in November, and I feel no where near ready and I feel like I won't be ready even though there's still plenty of time to hone in on the things I've been struggling with in all sections. If anyone has any tips on overcoming this I would really appreciate it!
