Wouldnt the other companies design products have to be inferior in order for Baxe to have a monopoly on the corporate market? I think E is a better answer because it explicitly says this, but in the absence of E, I think A would have been a good choice.

The sentence ¨one must consider the likely effects of large numbers of people failing to vote¨ I suppose would be a sub-conclusion, although I originally had it as the conclusion. So even though D was wrong because it exagerrated the importance of a single person´s vote, it was a very attractive answer.
