Hi! I'm a undergrad senior that is currently enrolled in a 5 year B.S./M.A. program at my university. During my senior year I have taken undergrad and graduate level courses. I have no intention in completing the program if I get admitted to a Law School. Will law schools turn away my application, for the Fall 2021 cycle, when they see that I have an expected grad school graduation date for May 2022? Any suggestions for who I can reach out to for a concrete answer?

Flaw: Misinterprets claim of unprofessional to justify the arg. (Shifts meaning of unprofessional from etiquette to status and references the behavior of professionals to justify the team's behavior)
A.) No irrelevant. Unethical not mentioned
B.) Yes! Passes two-step test
C.) There is no generalization (ex: all D1 levels, so all HS levels)
D.) Descriptively inaccurate. Coach does not shift blame.
E.) Descriptively inaccurate.
After watching this, I realized this question is not as bad as it seems. I could have solved this accurately and faster if I read the AC's precisely with more scrutiny.
I hate when my AC is wrong bc of careless mistakes. AC (A) felt very obvious and I knew why my AC was not correct the moment I reread the question and hit play.

won't your transcript show that you're in a bs/ma combined program?
hmm i think law schools will first think: "why is this person applying in this cycle when his graduation date is 2 years away?"
even if they go past that, they will be basing their decision off from your transcript/résumé which would state your expected graduation date. they reserve a right to revoke admissions after seeing your final transcript – why take this risk?
Yes it will show that I enrolled in that program, but it is also awkward and show that I am graduating in May 2021 and I have matched my resume the same way--I didn't really mention the whole grad school thing on there. I signed up for the program to take more rigorous electives during my senior year (in some way I thought that would strengthen my app) and I think it might have backfired LOL. As far as my application, I will definitely lowercase that part.

I apologize if I made that whole situation seem really grim. I do not think it necessarily is, just that you are going to have to tread these questions very carefully.
No i ABSOLUTELY needed the honestly. This is what I've been thinking and a lot of people irl are telling me that I am overthinking it. So thank you!!!
I honestly chose C because I did not know what it meant--I did not understand it. This fails me every time. Initially, I chose A, but I switched my answer because I did not know what C meant I assumed it was stronger than AC (A).
I saw that (E) was incorrect because it used the terminology "unusually large amounts of coffee". This has nothing to do with the passage at all because we are talking about the normal amounts of coffee..." unusually large amounts" is totally irrelevant. I pretty much had the same reasoning with (C) and was left with AC (B), because the other ACs felt outrageous and (B) attacks the assumption made when the author connects the premise and conclusion. Is my thinking flawed?
I would love to join check your inbox:)
i am interested! Thank you
I chose A, but I think it was because I was being too lazy to completely read the answer choices. I started to feel defeated/burned out after getting so many questions wrong. Remind yourself to take a break!
I would love the link to your quizlet if you don't mind sharing
Stim: Absurd (A->S) -> (A->S)
A.)Absurd ( /B->/A)-> (B->A). Good has the same structure!
B.) Incorrect rewording, poor attempt at contrapositive
C.) New idea introduced
D.) Reversing Sufficient/Necessary--incorrect
E.) Too many new ideas. The structure does not match.
150 is still a competitive score! Someone will want you. If I were you I would apply now-- if you are content with applying to less competitive schools or are confident in your app materials (LORs, PS, Diversity Statements, and etc.) I also agree with the others that recommend taking the February or January test admin.
I got this wrong because I did not read the question--not even during BR. Lesson learned!
Congrats! How long did it take you to study? What was your study plan like?
Thank you so much for posting this! I have literally been going through the same thing. the responses here are so helpful :)
I would love this!
I'm definitely going hard until January. Maybe take a break during the weekend after the exam to reset and gather myself lol
Thank you. I would like to attend. :)
Hi! I don't really have anything different to say. I agree w everyone. Aim to take the LSAT this spring. Set your schedule for one of the exams in the late spring and continue studying the way you are studying (maybe increase the time you spend studying but first you will have to work out time management so you won't fall behind in work for your internship).Good luck!
