I tested at Purdue University Oct-15 and it was a positive experience. One person to a table and I had plenty of room. The test moderators were great at holding everyone to the same standard. I did not have any distractions and my location was very easy to find. I have since accepted admission to IU McKinney School of Law and start with the Fall 2016 class.
Same experience here, scored 4 points lower than my average PT scores and was blindsided by my score. You're not alone in your frustration. I would encourage you to stay on it if you are still passionate about pursuing the ultimate goal. I personally think I'm going to retake again in December just so I don't lose my momentum.
@.hopkins I've read that it is the green semicircle-arrows that turn grey in the "LSAT Status" section of your LSAC.org account. Can't be100% sure, but can anyone else comment on this?
I've heard that the scores can be released in waves, so not everyone will receive their score at the exact same time. Is my understanding correct?
From the looks of things, they should be released today!
Thanks for the confirmation!
Spivey, you are my hero...good luck everyone! Please report back if you receive your score to confirm with all of us...eagerly waiting. The rest of my workday is shot :-X
My opinion: making such a judgment after just 2 PTs doesn't really tell you anything. Don't panic. At this point, don't focus at your total score as much as you do the individual questions/sections you struggled with. You will find that there will be fluctuations from PT to PT, especially in the beginning. Once you get to your 10th-15th PT, you will likely see smaller fluctuation and a more representative idea on the scoring range you sit in.
LSAT Logic in Everyday Life is one Podcast that I enjoyed and found valuable. They are a bit old, but I believe still relevant. These lessons are not going to teach you how to conquer the LSAT, but will help you begin thinking differently.

yes please, I know it would be greatly appreciated by us all! Congratulations on your 180, that is a huge accomplishment!!!
I cut out alcohol entirely during my LSAT preparation and found that it worked best for me. I was always energetic during my study sessions (especially on the weekends), and felt my mind was clear. May be a personal preference, but I believe it helped me.
