For Q23, I hesitated to put Answer Choice B because to me, 'skepticism', implies that the author is theoretically open to having their mind changed. They are unsure of whether of not an explanation is true, and don't necessarily subscribe to it.
However, in the passage, while the author makes a few concessions about the validity of the cooling theory, they make no indication whatsoever that they believe the theory is correct in the slightest. Any thoughts on how to approach this? Or just take JY's advice that 'vehement opposition' or such strong language is typically incorrect.

I disagree. I believe January is an option, regardless of whether or not you complete the core curriculum. In any case, your goal score, and diagnostic will indicate whether you can make January work. Ultimately, in 2 months you can increase your score by a significant amount. I wouldn't be too discouraged!
