I got this question right through POE, however I have a question. This question ask for a assumption upon which the "journalist argument" depends. So I can see why E is right.

However, when I first read this question I did not pick up on the question stem i.e the fact that we are analysing the "journalist argument" and "not the entire argument"

Based on my misguided sense of the question stem, I identified the gap as: "Critics have an objection to mandatory retirement of people 65+, they claim that it is arbitrary however the journalist's argument re-words this objection as "removing mandatory retirement means people 65+ we continue to work indefinitely" and in turn argues against that "modified view of the critics objection". Classic straw man (I think)

So my question is, if this were a Flaw Question (about the flaw in the entire argument) would my identification of the gap be correct?? or would it only be correct if the journalist main conclusion was "the critics are wrong" I know its irrelevant but I would like to know

Great explanation! I have a question about answer choice C, even if we ignore the last part about legislators who value democracy, would this answer choice still be wrong because it does not focus on the subset of legislators mentioned in the conclusion that is "legislators who propose laws prohibiting behaviour that is not harmful to anyone beside the people engaging in it"?

If this were a flaw question, would this be considered a flaw of hasty generalization because the premise is about the armadillos that were tagged and then recaptured but the argument is about all armadillos in general.

"prepare yourself adequately without completely destroying your life" Thats me right there. I decided to quit my job today, which really really sucks but I want to be done with the LSAT in June so in my mind the sacrifice is worth it.

Thank you for the guidance guys!

@ I do agree that the PTs should be taken around the same time as the actual exam time but I was hoping doing that the PT @ 3am would at least contribute to building my stamina? Also, I try my best never to do a new PT without first reviewing my previous PT, but yeah 3 PTs a week is a bit aggressive for someone like me who works full time.

Taking PTs on mornings around 3am?

I work full time and would like to start taking PTs asap. I plan on doing 2 on weekends and 1 during the week. I have tried taking PTs after work but I am usually too exhausted to finish/score well. I am thinking about doing my PTS @ 3am on mornings before work.

What do you all think? Does anyone have experience with early morning PTs?

I plan to do two per week, Saturday and Sunday with blind review/drilling/7sage videos during the week as I work full time.

@.T. 90066-1, I honestly believe that you are right. Getting into shape can wait until after the exam, I am just thinking about doing a 30-45 min jog after work everyday and eating right until after the exam at which time I will have the time/energy to get it my all.

Thanks!

PT review group for June LSAT

Hi,

I work full time and I am preparing for the June exam. I would like to start a PT review/general online study group for people who work full time (review will be online (google hangout) and on weekends). Most of the PTs would be done on weekends with review on weekends/during the week. Please email me @ nmillmich25@gmail.com if you are interested.

wow, this thread is so helpful. I work full time as well and I find it so hard trying to study after work plus I started a new training routine with a personal trainer and it is killing me because he wants me to devote at least 2 hours per day after work.
