In case this helps anyone (I learned this from another prep course I took): Whenever you see the words "takes for granted that" you can replace this with "assumes."

Therefore answer choice A would read: "Assumes" that all religious music is inspiring.

We know this is NOT the case. The critic does not make this claim in the stimulus. He simply says Vierne's work is divinely inspiring, not that all music is inspiring.
