How to Review Incorrect Answers

Hello, I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to review incorrect LR questions. LG is obvious because you can redo the question/do the five step method and redo a similar type. But I'm unsure how to tackle LR questions I've gotten incorrect. Any advice is appreciated, best.

I also loved this book and it helped me a ton. I'd love to see your Quizlet!

Hey folks, I'm wondering if its okay to be reading outloud on the LSAT flex. I know there will be a proctor etc. so I don't see why you wouldn't be able to read an RC passage or LR stimuli outloud as long as you're alone in the room you're testing in. But I know this has been an issue for proctored college exams and other standardized tests so I am just curious if it also applies to the LSAT.

Had a horrible experience with the Proctor software not getting running for a full 35-40 minutes after I was supposed to start. By the time I started the exam all the anxiety I had worked to keep under control boiled over. I've been practice testing consistently where I want for the past month but today everything fell apart. I also had to use the bathroom at one point which means taking an unauthorized break. Super disappointed with this experience especially since for the most part the test was super doable in terms of the questions. I will be contacting LSAC because I cannot accept that the testing software isn't doing everything it can to reduce stress for the student.

I had the same problem for months because when I first started studying I took PT's too soon and wouldn't do better than 1-2 points of my original diagnostic score. Over 6 months later after focusing exclusively on sections, I did my first full PT yesterday and got in the exact range I want. If you don't feel ready for a practice test yet you can definitely put it off but in the time you aren't doing practice tests try to work up to them by doing a section of a test every day (LR/LG/RC) and taking your time with it. Once you're getting as many as you want right, move to timing yourself doing a section every day until you get it down to 35 minutes. Then piece it all together and start doing PT's. It might take you a few weeks or it might take you a few months like it did for me but its ultimately worth it. I support taking things slow until you build up your confidence. Good luck! You've got this :)

Prep Test Virtually Versus on Paper

So I have taken the June 2007 Preptest twice. The first time I took it was over a month ago (I didn't know about 7Sage yet) and I just printed it out on paper and completed it on paper. The second time was part of the week 1 7sage schedule and I scored 5 points less, despite about 3 weeks of studying methods from the LSAT Trainer by Mike Kim. Can anyone reassure me that taking the exam/reading on a screen can impact your score if you're used to paper exams and do you have any tips on how to overcome this?

Hey! I hit a similar roadblock during my LG prep. My best advice is do sections untimed and take your time to figure out a game, even if literally one takes you 40 minutes. Don't worry about time right now just on honing your thinking to attack some of these more difficult games. I know people say don't redo sections but I think thats dumb, you can redo the same section of games a few weeks later and I you'll be fine. I'd also say use the feature in the problem set page on 7Sage to specifically look up certain game types (I did this for miscellaneous games) and sometimes just practice a ton of one type of game! I hope this helps, you got this!
