I'm currently in the same position. I'm Canadian registered for October and I'm hitting my target score. Everybody is different but for myself I did the June LSAT and hit around 5 below what I was averaging due to nerves/stress etc (mind you I was only PTing around ~160 then). I'm now hitting my PTs much higher than previously ~168-173 but I probably will register for the November LSAT for peace of mind and will just cancel if I don't need to take it.

Oct 21 retake score release?

Hey just finished the retake!! Just wondering if the score for todays retakers will be released on 10/27 like everyone else or we will have to wait longer? Can't find anything on it just that the 10/14 - 10/17 retakers get their score on the 27th still.

Hey man!!!!!!!!!! I've never had a study buddy for LSAT but I am definitely interested!! Right now I am PTing at around 158 and know I can improve. I think it will be greatly beneficial to be able to review troubling concepts as I've noticed my weak points and can help with things I am good at!!! Message me if you want to crush it!!!

Issues with ProctorU

My test got terminated right before the last section as I was accused of cheating. They stated multiple reasons

Someone rang my doorbell 3 times during the beginning of Section 2 and then left, I went out during my break to get the letter they left behind and let my cat inside. They then accused me of talking to someone at the door, I promptly explained what happened and then they said:

I went to the bathroom twice, once during section 1 and once during section 3, and they said that was not permitted. I went to the bathroom 4 times during the June Flex exam and wasn't given any problems. I pee a lot when nervous lol. And when I asked why they didn’t say that they first time they said they allowed me to break the rules the first time and let it slide.

I'm just beyond frustrated........ after being on the phone with LSAC, then proctorU, then LSAC, LSAC told me I should consider myself lucky that they're even letting me rewrite Oct 21..... Feeling a tad deflated but what can ya do... just sharing my grievances with you guys.

Thanks for this!!! I called ProctorU after reading this and got my test rescheduled for the same time on Tuesday. I think this option is for people who did not start the test before the outage, as he initially asked if I saw any part of the test which I did not.

I read the LR and LG bible in Feb-Beginning of April, took a diagnostic end of April and got a 150. And after doing a bunch of PTs. My score has slowly improved consistently and I finally hit a 163 with proper test conditions yesterday :). I'm writing the June test and I know I can even get better in time for another test in Aug or Nov it’s very possible!!! You can do it 100% grind it out!!!

I found what cranked up my score from 160 -> 170 was using the analytics function on 7sage for LR, creating 30 question problem sets of single type questions untimed and just cranking them out, really hammers it into your head. for RC practice practice practice. I was really bad and starting taking advice to highlight or take notes during reading RC, nothing changed. I'm down from like -11 to like -4/-5 on RC just by practicing untimed or timed passages and really just understanding what was going on, it really takes practice! I personally don't highlight or take notes during RC, I just focus on understanding what each paragraph means, what the argument is, etc.

Good bye 7sage

My journey is over for now, thank you so much for this website for carrying me. Couldn't have done it without this great community. I wrote my first LSAT in June, got a 155. Wrote the second time in October but due to technical difficulties I wrote at the end of October and got a 160....... Wrote 2 weeks later since I already paid for it (didn't really study lol) and just got my November LSAT mark back at 166!

Trust me if I can do it, you can too. Good luck everyone going forward. Bye!

Stuck at 160 and writing for June LSAT!!

Just wanted any tips or advice from people. I write the June LSAT in 2 weeks. I read all the bibles starting in feb and when I graduated at the end of April I got down to business. I started at around 153 three or four weeks ago and have since grinded my way to an average score of 160. I was temporarily stuck at ~158 but now I am ACTUALLY stuck at 160 for the past 7 tests I took regardless if it was PT 83 or PT 52. Any advice for LR or RC just to at least move me over this hump as I am now nervous as everyone tells me to expect to hit lower on the real test. I only want a 160+ mark. ://////. I get around 7-9 wrong in RC, 5-8 wrong in LR, and honestly I'm fine with LG at around 0-3. I struggle with the HARDER questions on LR and any advice how to start hitting those would rock. I PT everyday as well as review some untimed LR sections.
